Great shave Barry looking forward to the oili works review. Just had my first shave with the bundabeard tamboti with the filoso blades and a cyclone bowl. Excellent! I don’t get razor burn with aggressive razors and do with mild Razors. I am with you! With an adjustable I go from low to high with touch ups on the highest setting so it gets the trouble spots works amazing. .95 timeless is the unicorn. I got the timeless titanium top cap and handle with the SS open comb and scalloped base plate. Weighs 88 grams and shaving perfection.

So glad you liked the soap, and thanks for the shout out! I was really impressed with the slickness and they have some very unique scents. Also their post shave balm is awesome. I’m finding the same with the aggressive razors, very close but a bit of burn. My one exception would be the Aylsworth Apex. Almost no blade feel, super smooth, and effortless BBS, very impressed.

It is very good performing cream. I have the Apex in SS and AL. It is a great razor, but I dont get as close a shave with it as I do with other razors I own. I love my Apex though. It was the first higher end razor I bought back when I started. Showed me what a shave really could be.

I have yet to have a bad shave with it but I am only about 5 shaves in on it. All have been effortless BBS. Was a shock the first shave with it lol.

Another great shave. I am a Gibbs design fan. I like the Pearl, I never tried the Yaqi version. Their Tile may be my favorite DE. It excels in all the areas the Henson fails at. It’s a sold DE choice that punches above its weight

Excalibur is another great one. There is a little play in the head when loading the blade. You need to make sure it is aligned before tightening.

Great review - I would consider myself a newbie so I don't know much about the razor but I'm aware of it so this was good info. I'm a big Yaqi fan, they allow you to try out lots of different heads for a low price, I have two stainless steel handles and a few heads and two more on the way. The Excalibur is in my shopping cart I just don't know much about AC blades I'm waiting until your review to pull the trigger.

I have a couple of adjustable razors where the numbers are difficult to see also. I used some model paint and filled in the numbers and the dot. Much easier to see now.

@@ATexanShaves i did the same. I watched one of Matt's YT videos (Razor Emporium) where he did it. It looked easy, so I ordered some Enamel paint for model trains/cars, and painted all of the adjustable razors that i have. And it was very easy, i used Black, Red, and bright Yellow, colors that are easy to distinguish.

Great! Yaqi has come a long way with their razors and products and puts out some top-notch stuff these days. I'm going to pick up the adjustable slope which is a variate of this razor. That one is ingenious and a different take on a slant that I've never seen before. The funny thing to me is all the companies using this design, still are not as good as the Gibbs IMO. It has a much sleeker head design and is a smooth shaver. I'd try using a different blade. I've never used that blade before, so I'm just unfamiliar with it, but I rarely get any blade burn and I have a ton of razors. I use Nacets and Wizamets. I super sensitive skin and super sharp blades and efficient razors work best for me, but that's my experience anyway. The least amount of strokes the better-lol! Take care!

Yes Yaqi has come a long way! The blades are sort of new to the scene but are fantastic. The burn i get is just from me not having shaved with so much blade exposure in my wet shaving life. My shave today had little to no burn, My face is just getting used to the closeness of the shave is all it seems. I hope to have a GIBBS someday, Thank you for the great comment and watching my video!
