As I lay here in bed listening to this cover, I found myself reminiscing on a particular memory: dancing with my dad in our living room. "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton blaring through an old CD player on our oak TV stand. Him holding me by my tiny forearms as he spun me around and around to the music. Looking back, I can distinctly remember locking with his eyes in mid air, that squinted so harshly when he truly smiled. I wish he was still alive to dance with me today, I would walk more than a thousand miles for that. Thank you for publishing this, Jonah. I hope to dance to this during my father/daughter dance at my future wedding someday.

Just listening to this song gives me the memories of my best friend, who I have always gone out my way doing a lot for them. Spending endless hours to one day be told that if we were to ever find a soft song of it, we would dance closely together. We've done anything for each other and the way we feel for one another is a whole new level of friendship.
