Your kitchen set-up is insane! To be able to actually COOK inside your car is all about how well planned your set-up is. I love the little air plant - it just all feels so homey and whimsical! Lovely peaceful..thanks for taking us along. Planning for outings, even alone, can be stressful but if you have everything you need handy finding a perfect place to park is part of the adventure.

I like your whole set up. Everything is neatly tucked away for use later. You used your space efficiently and wisely. I had camping gear in my car last year, and was not comfortable when I tried to sleep in it for a few hours. I hope to own a van someday, just to go camping in on weekends. I love nature, and having a vehicle I can rest in would save lots of money when I want to get away from the city life.

As others have said, your van is very well planned out and the cooking area is ideal. But what marks you out over other ''camping in a van'' videos is that you cook proper food rather than simply instant noodles or camping rations. Proper food is essential if you want to rest and regain your inner peace and it is nice to find someone who has not only carefully thought about what they need in the van but also takes care to eat properly as well. This was awesome and gave me an idea for one of my friday evenings after a hard week.

Could you leave a link for the stove and lanterns, they look like something I would purchase. Don't work too hard, as we Americans say, we're all replaceable.

Your pan needs to be seasoned to make it nonstick. Once it is seasoned (baked in an oven with multiple thin coats of oil) you still need to heat the pan before adding ingredients. Then your lovely meal won’t stick.

What is that shiny book thing?! I believe we used to have them in America before the iphone took over lol. The sound of the pages turning is wonderful. Im guessing the cast iron pan needed to be oiled and then heated up thoroughly so it was evenly hot before putting the batter in.

With practise I bet you'll some day get the takoyaki the right shape. And you got the right flavour, that's the most important part.

i had wanted to sleep in my car for a long time while i traveled for work. i got a tent and went to camp grounds. and did sleep in my car some. i loved getting away and into nature too. its so relaxing and one feels like running away from it all.

Beautiful set up! What a wonderfully organized camp kitchen. I think your takoyaki pan might be iron? Iron should be rubbed with oil and baked at a low temp for a while to 'season' it before first use. And a heat spreader would help a lot under the pan on that type of stove. Great idea to fry in a pan. 😄 It looks delicious! I will try cooking it that way. ❤️

I’m also impressed with the cooking station you have. Nature is a good thing. It soothes our restless spirits but does nothing for our souls. You will only find that through faith in Jesus Christ. The creator of the universe. All that ancestor worship you do is detrimental to your soul and spirit. Constantly focusing on death rather than life will do that. Your an ancestors are dead . You can’t do anything about them. Please think about finding out about this Jesus unless you’ve already heard a little and wondered.

I would have been running off of the road many times because I was too busy looking out the windows at the scenery. Japan has so many beautiful places to see and visit. You are very blessed to have a nice Suzuki vehicle🚙 that you can jump into and have all the comforts of home so you can get away from the busy city for a rest. Your meals looked so good and delicious! I have an aebleskiver pan similar to your Takoyaki pan. I try so hard, but I don't have much success.
