@@Reddogmr57 the pin curtain has a upward angle meaning instead of the pins getting pushed down by the curtain they get pushed up causing them to fly out
@@brandonkreyer9795 oh ok, I gotcha. Brunswick machines, I don't know much about them. Thought they were AMF, before I looked closer at the sweeps and table. Just AMF masking units.
*walks into bowling center* Brandon: Hey just letting you know I bounce out pins all the time Worker: *laughs* *1st shot bounces out pin to ball return*
When you show up to the lanes and you see guy with his compression sleve and athletic pants on f*ckin DRILLIN em down the lane. You know right then its all about the beers that night, and you may just have to beg for him to save some poos for the rest of us
I dont think our curtain was inverted but every few frames in one game a corner pin or middle would bounce out (literally flying) and then the next two games, it stopped. It happened during league too which was interesting. Rarely happens in our alley also
Welp, the owner doesn’t have a lot of cash to build a Brunswick Zone so they tried their best to make a alley, one of the pins were weak and the curtain wasn’t new enough they were all Second handed since my city had a abandoned alley from the same owner he pulled out a working machine then installed on lane 38
I use to bowl in the YABA and went to ABC leagues. Got a few 300s. I busted the light once, a few racks and had pins actually come and past the ball return lol. I just subscribed. How fast can you throw 🤔. I been clocked in at 32 mph with 16 pounder. I need to make a video like this lol.
I’m guessing the pin setter curtain behind the pins is really tight with little to no slack to absorb the pins causing this much bounce of the pins like this.
@@brandonkreyer9795 I'm just amazed that you managed to throw the ball at the 4 and 7 pins, and got a strike from that. Though I once picked up a 4-7-10 split by hitting a stray pin out of the gutter which then flung across to knock the 4 and 7 pins, and made the ball kick back up on the lane to take care of the 10 pin. I'm definitely not a stranger to weird pin action, but physics almost feel like they write their own rules in bowling lol
it's the masking units which were manufactured by AMF. There's nothing wrong with having Brunswick A-2 pinsetters in a centre with AMF equipment or vice versa? The A-2's might have been there since the centre opened years ago with all Brunswick equipment, the centre may have had a renovation in the past and some AMF products may have been the better option for this centre. AMF Bowling in Australia under ownership of Ardent Leisure between 2005 and 2016/17 have refurbished a number of centres and opted to go with Brunswick products over QubicaAMF.
@@PinoyBowlerGS92 funny enough there is a bowlero within 2 miles of this center. Plus for what bowlero wants there isn’t enough room to make it a bowlero center, which I’m glad since the place is perfect the way it is
@@brandonkreyer9795 Good answer. I know people who just throw the ball out there expecting it to hook every time. Ever play the low score game? The object is to take the 7 pin out on one ball, and the 10 on the second ball. Gutter ball on the first throw is a strike; gutter ball on the second is a spare. Otherwise, lowest score wins.
