Now that we know the next expansion pack is going to be romance themed, this is a desperate plea for a Sandalwood LP. For Rent is stalled without an heir. Sandalwood is named after the flirty incense that helped conceive him. His look is iconic. He deserves this. He deserves the world.

I really wish they added food preferences to the likes and dislikes. The food is already tagged in different categories.

The home chef hustle waffles and pizza make loads of money, and if you finish the appliance aspiration you get extra servings of everything you cook--two pizzas for the price of one!

I love how Rueben is in the cooking aspiration, and hes named after a sandwich.

Your aunt inviting you to the romance festival totally checks out. "Hi honey, it's Aunty Scarlet, come to the romance festival with me, I've got someone I think you should meet!"

@30:39 The pub does have a kitchen! Devon Bumpkin put a kitchen in the pub for the sake of realism (it's functional too, full counters-fridge-stove-sink deal)

I would love it if they revamped the cooking system. They've added tons of new recipes and they've freed the cupcakes, but the menu is so long and bulky! Pies, breads, and cakes are still considered cooking and not baking. I feel like if you have Get to Work, pies, breads, and cakes should also count towards your baking skill. And I feel like we haven't gotten anything new in gourmet cooking in ages. Like, pufferfish nigiri should absolutely be a gourmet cooking dish. I know there are probably mods to fix this, but console players don't get mods. And it's not really game breaking, it just makes your game lag. It seems like an easy change.

You can sell food you packed in a sack. Just have to unpack it first. Would love to see a foods of the world type stall. Maybe keep a dish you know sells well and then sell only discovered foods. All the City Living foods, Dine Out foods, any of the foods that you have to learn by eating.

You can't buy something outside of a lot and stop eating it. The game auto cleans it up. If you're on a lot, you can set it down and put it in your inventory. They changed that a long time ago. Sometimes, you can order to go and it works that way. If you drink a bottle of nectar off lot, it will make it disappear even if there are more services left! 🤣

I built an entire home by selling roast chickens at the selling table lol 😂 have to be cooking level 10 but those things are worth a fortune!

Wedding cakes sell really well with the chef hustle stall. $200 investment, but with 12 servings it makes its money back quickly. Roast chicken also does well.

There is a mod you can choose the leftovers .. it is very useful to have especially if you have a vegetarian or lactose intolerant sim. I recommend to y'all to download. Ps: Reuben is a split image of Rahul

Creative would have been a useful trait because he would’ve gained cooking skills more from being randomly inspired with the trait

Since he's rolling random for each episode (minus the sim just played) I really hope there's one sim that never gets their turn and lives forever in a tent within the thriving Tiny Town lol. I doubt James would let that happen for too long, but I just think it'd be funny that the Spinning Fate (rolodex or wheel) quietly declares "...nah, not that one." 🤣

For cooking, ik you can cook and sell wedding cakes for a lot more money than normal food. So maybe baking would also be a lucrative route to go.

If you don't mind sharing what you did when your world didn't load. It happened to me last month and almost lost my safe file & lost an amazing build I never saved to the gallery. if you have any solution, I'd appreciate it so much, James or anyone. Thanks.

I avoid lactose intolerant and vegetarian traits just because for gameplay they are just frustrating barriers. And feel like a throw away use of limited trait slots.

When your Sim’s customers don’t finish eating their food item, you can put it back in the selling table inventory and sell it again for the ORIGINAL amount … rather than let it rot or trash it

I'm really enjoying how long these episodes are. Perfect to fall asleep to because I can watch the same episode multiple days in a row!

I know this is ridiculous considering these episodes are all like one hour long, but whenever I watch any of the Tiny Town episodes, I just wish for it to never end Like I just wanna KEEP WATCHING and see what HAPPENS

What would be great: because the sims are building relationships when you are not playing them, it would be fun to explore their relationships in their episode (and let them move in etc.) :)

You should try the appliance wiz aspiration once you get the money for all the required appliances! It’s relatively easy to complete and when you get the reward trait, you get double the servings of every meal you make with prepped ingredients. So ultimately wayyy cheaper to cook meals and you’d make more of a profit. I believe the aspiration he’s on now requires being in the culinary career to complete, which isn’t necessarily the goal for the series but yknow

I think if you unpack the sacks they would go back into plates and you could sell them! I love that Reuben is named after a sandwich and got cooking for his skill lol

I feel like Rueben should really travel to all the food stalls to learn all the recipes and only sell them. Also to the one in Salvadorada.

Using funny interactions with the costumers while tending the table should help with his fun need

It is super challenging to use the food pop up to travel to all the festivals and sell food that it associated with that festival. It is fun, lets you learn and make different recipes and gives you a work schedule where you know lots of sims will show up. It's how I play Homemade hustle. Its fun!

I love the different houses on the same lot. We have the modern side of the town, and the bug house belonging to Krystoff the breadwinner in the previous challenge. Then we have Vivienne's sweet little Pink Industrial house

You can choose to be lactose intolerant. When it comes to a chocolate cake, whipped cream and ice cream I am not lactose intolerant, the stomach aches and nausea is just it loving me back! 😂

When you’ve finished a sale/event etc you can click on YOUR sim and select ‘make everyone leave’ which is very helpful when you want to sleep 😆

Charisma, Entrepreneur, and obviously Cooking/Baking/Gourmet Cooking skills will make dishes more expensive on the selling table secondly having prep with the mixer and the oven from dream home decorator make it so you can cook on the selling table

I'd like to see food cooked based on the time of day and the day i.e. Sunday a grand meal, Saturday bbq, morning waffles/quiche, lunch challa, grilled cheese soup etc...each day could be a theme of the day...love the series...thank you.

you could start with equipping the common area first so that all the sims can use a fridge and toilet, and after that buy individual stuff

So apparently using the cheat to have more rentals on one lot may be causing the whole corruption issue. Idk if you want to deal with that or maybe trying to do the roommates thing or try having two rentals on another lot closer. Maybe that’ll work.

📢PSA📢 The trick to getting food stall food without taking a bite out of them: 1) place your order 2) click some distance away from the food stall to "go here" 3) cancel the actions that appear in your queue like wait for order etc 4) while you're walking see when the vendor puts out your order and be sure to cancel the eat action when it appears in your queue 5) click on your plate to "put in inventory" (and if you're still walking wherever you clicked obv cancel that) 6) enjoy your food! 😋✨ Other tips: don't go too far away as other sims might try to steal your food. If you see a sim taking your food just shift-click to reset them so they'll drop your food. Also you can pack the food into a sack lunch!
