Love this game! I play it at least once a month. I have all the expansions, including the online only ones. I have never played it other than co-op though.
Is Liliana supposed to be a ghost? I can't believe I didn't pick up on it before but "a lost soul", shadow of the past, everything is through spirit, can't trade items with other heroes. I feel like if this was a movie, at the end we would find out "she was dead the whole time" 😱
Just a couple of things. Yes, the Hero Packs 1 and 2 are included. The Bog Fiend is 10 hit points because in co-op play his hit points are equal to the number of players times base hit points. So, 2 X 5 = 10.
Looks interesting. I'll have to read up on the rules as it is not a game I have every played. Can I ask for this play-through that you make sure to point out what is on the board? Unless you are zoomed in far, I cannot make out what is printed on the spaces or where "spaces" are lol. Thanks!
The Late Night Gamer Oh, that's a tough one since I really like all the FFP games. I think though, the best game from them so far is Shadows of Brimstone despite having to put the miniatures together. It's great solo and in a group. Second I would say is Last Night on Earth, but this one can't be played solo - well not really. Then Fortune and Glory, followed by A Touch of Evil then last is Conquest of Planet Earth - I have not played the card game from them though so don't have an opinion on that one yet. Hope that helps, or better yet, you could watch all my FFP game play throughs to help you decide.
Paul Darcy If you quickly compare FanG to say Eldritch Horror (or Arkham). Is it as solid? I mean repayable, luck based? I ask cause buying FanG with expansions is an expensive venture :) I watched your FanG videos by the way :)
The Late Night Gamer FanG is about 98.7% luck based . . . while Eldritch is only about 80%. FanG while a lot more swingy can be more fun, if you are in to swingy silly luck games. Eldritch, I have to say, has the more solid mechanics and a bit less fiddlyness to it. Also, if you get FanG, don't try to play FanG with more than 5 or it will be so slow between turns you can watch the seasons change . . .
