Ricardo I absolutely loved this vlog! I love walking and so listening to your “rambling” about books you’ve read and discussing the topic of walking was thoroughly enjoyable. Please share more often xxx
Thanks Riccardo, that was a great video. What a beautiful town, I do love all of those old buildings, what a feast for the eyes! Please take us to see the tapestries in the church, I'm sure they're amazing! Loved hearing you talk about the book on walking, so interesting. I've learnt a few things listening to you, fascinating stuff! Big hugs and pats, and much love xxx
Hey Karen, thank you! I am glad you’d learnt a few things here and there. I know I will need to make an appointment and go see it so we can all experience it. Will give them their pat from you 🤗😊🙌🏼
Lovely part of the world indeed. You do sound as if this walk was very much needed to unwind you. About this book you are reading, it is very true that walking is beneficial from very many points of view, but you probably have also noticed that it is tempting for the author to resort to easy statements which appear to have apparent depth, but are just a play on words. Time can not be altered, it is more about making sure that you remain alert and appreciate the experiences life offers. In many ways it is about seing and not just looking.
That’s very insightful IRSA 🙌🏼😆 yeah it was a quick book and talking a lot about other books hahaha but I think the basics are there, sometimes it’s just good to remind oneself to take a an extra walk 😊
I also loved your ramblings about walking. It was very interesting and now I want to read a book or two about it! You are very thoughtful about life. ❤
Hi darling Ricardo . That was a beautiful walk you took us on from the lovely old town to the country side. I loved all your little quotes and sayings. My favourite quote was “We do not stop walking because we age. But we age because we stop walking” that is so true. Thank you Ricardo xx🇨🇮
I'm enthralled with the architecture with the opening shot of the building on the corner, turrets and all. The heavy wooden doors and shutters, l just love them. What a gorgeous part of the world to live in. Sweeping landscapes, bailed hay, it's all stunningly beautiful ❤
I only walk our road right now. My cataracts are so bad I don’t dare wander in the woods, soon to have surgery so look out woods when I can see😆 I try too walk fast for a mile going then slowly wander home stopping to look at plants and pick up stones. Fast for the heart slow for the mind.
Hey Paulette, I am happy you’ll get your eyesight done soon and then you can go and explore those woods all you want! That is good going fast and slow 👍🏼🚶🏻🌳
Lovely walk and scenery, Ricardo. Doctors say sitting is the new cancer. I take in a lot because I walk so slow and take many breaks with my lower lumbar spinal stenosis.❤
Sorry to hear about the spinal stenosis, but yeah it’s good you go for a walk no matter how short or how often you need to take a break. I do a lot of yoga positions to alleviate my lower back pain. Don’t know maybe talk to your Dr or trusted people about doing some search on this to help you out. I found this webpage: aurawellnesscenter.com/2022/08/26/teaching-yoga-for-spinal-stenosis/#:~:text=Yoga%20can%20help%20to%20relieve,Cow%20Pose%2C%20and%20Child's%20Pose.
