That was a great guide to Central Park, Molly. I think you have been there before on at least 2 RU-vid gatherings, but this time you got to see the whole park. I love the way you have now won the battle to keep your English accent. You are right back to the same as your early videos before you ever left England.

My mom has some books about 160 years old of Robert Burns' work, along with various other books. She found them in the upstairs of an old retired firehouse for private use, which had had many previous owners and had been currently owned by her dad.

I really like this episode :) I didn't know there were so many things in Central Park! I knew about the Zoo and the Alice statue, but I had no idea there was an Egyptian Obelisk, or that there are fountains and such pretty bridges!

It's a very nice park. I got to visit it a couple of years back with my fellow music students, and I went ice skating, which hurt. A lot. It's huge so we only got to see a small part of it, so I must go again at some point. Though it'll be quite an excursion from Portsmouth, England where I live.

@ArtypNk yes she's wearing shoes. you can see it at :05 it's slip on shoes, or also known as ballet slippers but in the color "nude" so it blends in with your legs making it look like you have no shoes on.

Actually Molly, it wasn't undeveloped, Seneca Village was there and taken through the use of Eminent Domain. Squatters and renters were displaced apart from Seneca Village as well. Churches and schools were destroyed to make room for the park.

Hi Molly! If you can do it, go about 150 miles north to Albany and do a video about Washington Park especially around May 10-12 when they have the Tulip Queen Festival. It's really beautiful. The whole park is all Tulips. Have a great day!

wow molly didnt realize it was such a big and beatuiful place! also filled with so many wonderful and historic statues, it just seems right in that big concrete jungle. I've been to Central Park quite a few times, but mostly when I was younger. Usually things seem bigger when you are younger, but I guess since I never really walked around the park, I thought the park to be no bigger than any average park.
