We have watched several of the videos in this series, but today, as we were transfixed by this one, it suddenly struck me how incredibly difficult (even with computers) it must be to accumulate, organize & edit all the textual & visual information, to weave it together so seamlessly to tell the story so well. All the breathtakingly beautiful images of sky, ocean, Earth, together with high quality 3D animation, and an equally high quality narrative & narration synergistically produce the most compelling, interesting, & informative documentaries ever, imho. Thank you!!! Well done!!! 👍👍

These documentaries are so professionally produced, and so informative! I feel like I'm a kid, exploring and learning about the wide universe for the first time when I watch them. You see, I was taken-in at an early age by "young earth creationist" religious thoughts that simplified Earth's "origins" and "history" into a laughable mythology inherited from the Mesopotamian cultural speculations and traditions. Watching and learning from your documentaries makes me feel like I am catching up on all the things I should have learned decades ago in my life. Thank you for presenting your amazing videos to everyone. This channel is incredible!

Glad to have you on board! I never understood, and never will, for that matter, why some religious people feel their faith threatened by science. Science does not contradict it, it should only make their belief more spectacular. I wish some fundamental Christians could work their brains around this concept. But oh well, I guess because I am not religous I cannot think the way those people do.

Mmm the time I had with the creationists, new agers, shamans, monks, imams, sheiks, ashrams etc was far more interesting, memorable, and ultimately inspiring then my time at...physics class.... Personally science is bloated with big words to compensate for the idiocy of "REDISCOVERING" stuff It's as if gravity didn't exist until newton.... An archer does what a sniper does without math... And they can still hit the target from range... Science has it's uses, but ultimately it just sounds to mechanical... It's not as bad as say, computer languages lol It's one of those subject matters that goes out of its way to mimic the language of lawyerese, or corporate speech to hyperinflate it's complexities by requiring "educations" to learn about the world around you. It's an old game...
@glenn_r_frank_author
@glenn_r_frank_author 2 года назад
@johnnytheprick Always Question Science... that is what Science is... questioning things, finding proofs, changing theories to fit findings, challenge your concepts. religion on the other hand is pretty much "This is how it is... believe it, it is the truth and never changes"

The content is informative and interesting, the dialog is well chosen and superbly enunciated, the musical accompaniment is sublime and unobtrusive yet has enough presence to make itself known. Top shelf production indeed. Well done to all! If I could suggest just one little improvement it would be to use some good heavy metal influenced tracking during the scenes where violent creative destruction is occurring. A properly tuned and played electric guitar can carry such a great ambience for scenes that are just _Two Steps from Hell_ one way and almost Heaven the other way. ;-)

'But scientists nevertheless flex their astronomical muscles' 💪🏻💪🏻 HAHA, LOVE it!! BTW Amazing video, very well done & I LOVE that you used REAL space images & not a bunch of fake CGI images. (I get why those CGI images get used, to give an idea to something we don't have capabilites to capture very well or at all with even the best of telescopes) Just makes me happy to see real images of what we do have photos of 🤩🤩🤩

Hasn't there ALWAYS been a superocean? I mean don't we have one right now? Yes, we've subdivided it into entities with different names, but technically they're all connected and form one giant superocean.
@anonUK
@anonUK 10 месяцев назад
Most of the Southern Hemisphere is superocean- only South America extends much below 45S and Antarctica is mostly within the Amtarctic Circle. This superocean also extends right up to the Aleutian Islands in the Pacific. As sea ice recedes, the Arctic Ocean is starting to become an extension of the Atlantic.
