If there's a line you've wanted to model, in a not-so-common scale, why let impracticalities get in the way? Chris Romain didn't, and the result is this fantastic layout in 10mm:1ft.
Fantastic layout!.. Would have liked to see more of it,.. Lots of details there to study,. Pass the old site of it several times a week for work. A smelly fish factory there now..! .
Nice presentation of a fascinating layout - tremendous attention to detail. Only regret is that it wasn't possible to recreate the railcars being manually turned by crew (and sometimes passengers?)
There are no steam working examples at present 2-6-4 tank Drumboe has been restored to everything but the boiler at the Donegal Railway Museum with the hopes to put it back into steam in the future
