I always enjoy seeing how people set up their workspace + desk + drawers! Thanks for sharing your space. I love the creative touches and the little buddies you have accompanying you.
It is fascinating to me that there seem to be clusters of interests and characteristics that sort of ‘go together.’ I am a mom in my fifties, have raised three kids, so different life experience than you, as yet. I also use and collect tarot, play board games, and I knit! Storage for my hobbies/collections is a constant struggle. I appreciate you showing how you manage. Thanks, Carrie
Storage really IS a struggle 😩😭 We just moved apartments & I gotta figure out where all the crochet stuff goes now! Haha organization is always a journey, and I can imagine even more so after raising 3 kids. Thanks for taking the time to comment 🌞
Very clever use of a small space!! And very cute deco esp the images on your wall and card garland! I’ve been on deck buying hiatus for 1.5 years so that’s progress 😬 but there are several decks that I need to defn get rid of. Think I have some sort of object permanence bcuz if I can’t see it, then it doesn’t exist so actually paring down my decks will be a good thing😅. The crochet animals are adorbz ✨
A deck buying hiatus! Was it intentional, or did it just happen that way? I'm also the same in that I need to be able to see my decks; I don't like the feeling of not remembering that I have a deck 😅 Same goes for my clothes and makeup and everything else too. I like seeing what I have, rather than having it tucked away in storage to be forgotten about forever.
Oh my goodness, I literally got some new storage for my decks and reorganized my collection yesterday! Great minds think alike. Loved having a peek at your board game collection too. And your crocheted proposal astronaut! So cute 💖
1:22 love Tarot Oracles channel. 7:41 love this clear shelf storage! 8:19 im a candy person too lol 11:43 love the chime. 14:23 i adore your artwall! 19:22 tgis drawer thing might be great to store my clay! I love it. Lol. 20:53 totoro! 23:10 mine shakes because my holder sits on my table lol. 24:38 lol i buy at art markets too lol 27:01 i love your space ❤
you: "when I have a lot of space I feel obligated to fill it" me, looking at the wall behind you: "no way /s" I'm totally the same way (especially with walls), you should see my room xD
LOL don't look at my wall!! aah!!! jk please look at it, it's glorious My fiance said once that he doesn't want our place to look like a college dorm 😤 Sometimes it just makes u question ur relationship choices, huh 😤 /j
I would love some sort of study club where we could explore decks we've been meaning ot get into together via youtube! Just thinking of that since you started the #AsiansOnTarotTube hashtag!
That sounds lovely! It might be similar to that #onedeckgonewild hashtag I saw going around. The Deep Dive Tarot Study group on Facebook is doing that this month actually: admin posted a bunch of prompts and spreads for the month, and people go through it bit by bit with their decks. I haven't had time to join in yet, but that also looks fascinating!
Love your glasses! I am new at being a "glasses girl" because I just about a year ago got the tip from my doctor that my migranes might come from my eyes! I am not really short- or farsighted but my poor eyes had to deal with a curvature in my lense. Long story short, I wear glasses now and am obsessed with cute/cool glasses. Sorry for my rambling, but your glasses are too cute!
BTW I am not that new to Tarot. Got my first deck from my mom when I was 13 (?) and that was about 23 years ago. I am collecting (hopefully mindful) for maybe 4 years now.
Thank you!! I've been wearing glasses since 2nd grade, and have always worn "boring" black glasses. It was only in the past 3 years that I realized, hey I can have fun/cute glasses! They don't have to be the "standard" colors! I was also partially inspired by Ali Wong's cool glasses 🤩 And oh wow, having a tarot deck for 23 years!! wow!!
