Every journey starts with a train?😉 I was most impressed with the brickwork, l can appreciate the blood, sweat, and tears that went into their manufacture. They start off weighing 2L heavier due to their water content, and their colours are achieved by their position in the kiln. Darkest colours to the centre middle top, ( blues, and heathers, where the highest temperatures can be achieved. The reds, and multi's to the front lower and sides, you would achieve a 70% draw from the kiln with these colours, which is why most bricks are red. I hand made bricks for 18 years, achieving an over all total of some 3,000,000+. They too also found their way into prestige civic projects, maybe in another millennium people will consider the men who made them too? I guess there is nothing new beneath the Sun?🤔

In Italy, these trains cost €1.50 per day to ride. So yeah, every journey starts with a train - I’d be a fool not to use them! :)

AWESOME video. Only wish the camera panned slower to allow eyes to adjust. Really enjoyed your commentary.

I know what you mean. Sadly I was going to use a lot of panning shots from a camera but they didn’t come out well so I had to go with video.

As I put before, I've been past Italy, but never to it.
