The secret to a blissful marriage is separate bathrooms and bedrooms!

That is a pretty common royal thing for the king and queen (or queen and prince in this case) to sleep in separate bedrooms. It is actually a great idea that I plan to implement in my own home when I start building. It is for 2 busy people, so you don't wake the other person when coming to bed late, or needing to get up early in the morning. It doesn't mean they will always sleep separately, they just have the option.

Those Corgi-plushies all over the place are a nice touch - and just adorable. And in addition a convenient way of getting close-to-accurate without having actual dogs aboard at all times and all the hassle that would come with that.

such a great tour thanks for taking us along The Queen came here to Chicago on her Great Lakes tour. Only stayed a few hours, had dinner with city and state officials, broke a tooth and had to find a local dentist that was still in his office, and sailed away. Big argument later bewteen city and state as to who was going to pick up the tab for the dinner.

All it needed was an upgrade to a diesel electric drive, like they did to the QE2. That would have cut fuel usage and crew numbers substantially. Plus upgrade the bridge to modern standards. Sleeping accommodation was tight, but no more so than in a submarine. But crew day facilities seemed lovely.

All RN ships onboard have laundry facilities run by locally employed Chinese from Hong Kong, they are not pubs on board they were WO & CPO , Petty Officer and Junior rates messes. The messdecks are quite spacious compared to a Frigates or Destroyers. When afloat she was always accompanied by a warship, known as RY Guardship..
