It is stunning and you (Michael) could do this professionally. I love listening to you describe the objects in your chateau. I also appreciate the art you create.
You know Michael you are the very reason why I started watching your video's and then started watching Stephanie's channel and started watching Billy's,Sean's and Ryan's channels. You bring alot of things like history to the table, I appreciate everything you do. Thank you for today's tour, and I'm looking forward to more.
I watched Michaels vlogs first as well. When I saw him talking to this strange woman I had to know who this weird person was 😂 Now I watch hers and many others. They’re better than anything on tv!
I enjoy at lot of the other channels but I have always been true to you. I am not a fan of your girlfriend... Comes across phoney. Enjoyed the tour. Its beautiful and appreciate the hard work you all do.
Never get tired of hearing the history of your château. I love all the details of the decor and the changes the rooms have gone through. Florian is doing a great job filming. Music is perfect. Stay safe.
Please, please, please, do more tours of the castle. You are so informative and entertaining. Michael, you have something special, never listen to the haters. Stupid people say stupid things, don't punish all of the thousands of subscribers that love you.
I am so glad that you’re back making videos. You’ve done a fantastic job, telling us all about everything in the Château and the history behind the pieces. Love it! Also, I wanted to add that everything from the intro to the videography and the music is spot on. So professionally done. Bravo!!
Fabulous tour Michael. I now need to go find your tours of the other floors. I so love your positive attitude, and cheerful, but sometimes cheeky smile. 🤗
Thank you for sharing your spectacular chateaux. You are very in tune with the humble among the Lions. You have a marvellous vlog and you are so genuine with your love of beautiful arts and crafts. As a guest and spectator to your presentation I must admit your brother Billy and you are so similar it's like a magical enchanting awesome experience watching you on You Tube. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and achievements. Lots of ❤ from a humble cowgirl in Arizona. 😊
I love how y’all are trying to restore as much of the original features as possible. It’s a beautiful home and worthy of restoration and preservation. I’m thankful for you and your family who have taken up the mantle of caretakers of this beautiful property. ❤️😊
Fantastic Michael……..thank you…! I’ve got to say having followed Billy, Gwendolyn and yourself from day one the Chateau could not have been in better hands …..now with all your family joining you three it’s all looking amazing and the next generation, Ernest and Archie, already putting their stamp on it too …..not to mention all the pets….! I’m looking forward to seeing your and your parents cottages finished Michael ….! Not only that the Convent is coming on in leaps and bounds too…….so looking forward to seeing Sadie and Mo’s home finished …! Xx
Thanks from NJ in the US, Michael, Family, and Friends, for sharing your restoration journeys with us. It's been fun and so educational watching all the cooperation and work that is needed to restore these beautiful buildings.
Wow, simply stunning Grand House! The details to the interior rooms are mind boggling! Michael you are the most perfect host for taking all of us on a house tour with all your knowledge of the antique pieces used for decorating each room! Some of these details to these rooms are actually quite amazing that Billy and you were able to find these pieces!! I look forward to seeing the next episode of your Chateaux tour! Welcome back Michael what an incredible comeback!!!
Michael, this is the first tour I've watched by you. You are an impressive young man. ( I will be 67 in a few months, so yes, you are a young man. 😊😉) I love your style! How talented you, and your family are. Your artwork and artistic flare shine through. God bless you, and thank you for your hard work in putting these vids out for us to enjoy.
It must be anyones dream to live in a place like that surrounded by lush gardens and forest and a grand estate with so much wealth in it. The pathericks are probably so used to all this and here I am just dreaming away.
Brilliant. I agree with others that you could do this professionally. Your warmth and voice makes it a pleasure to discouver the history of the chateau with a cup of tea.
Michael, part 2 was just as nice as part 1, it is nice to revisit the Chateau, from the ground up, you all have done so much to make her beautiful again. The woodwork on the fireplace is stunning. Hi to Florian, and waiting for the next video. Love from N.Y.
So glad you did appear on our tv screens 6 yrs ago and decided to vlog to inform and entertain us with your channel. Here's to many more of your vlogs to come 🥰
Thanks Michael for showing us around it was your RU-vid channel that helped me and many more people through lock down and Stephanie and its great to see you back ❤
Wow Michael! You are a natural in so many ways....your ability to share history, tell stories in such a captivating way, is wonderful. I am so glad you're back with us.
Hi Michael, greetings from the Garden State, USA. It’s fantastic that you’re posting videos again! You’re so knowledgeable about the history of the chateau, the decor & antiques. As a professional Interior Designer, I really appreciate all of the details that you show. Looking forward to your next video.
Very beautiful place and you are so blessed and we are grateful that you are sharing your wealth of knowledge with us! Michael, you have so many and amazing talents. Thank you! So glad you are back!!
Thank you for showing us all the beautiful features of your Chateau renovation. It is stunning! Your videos are informative, beautiful and so well done. Loving every shot!
Gorgeous rooms. So many things I'd never seen before. Thank you for sharing the details and reviewing the styles of each room. Your detail and background really enhanced my understanding of the work that's been done (and what lies ahead). Excited to see what you share next.
Well done Michael, your vlog so interesting relating the history of the Château and describing the pieces and room. It is a real joy to have you back. You are knowledgeable, creative and special. Thanks for returning, have sincerely missed you 👍🏻👏🏻🇳🇿New Zealand 🇳🇿🌹❤️
You can replicate the missing moulding using a CNC machine and some 3-D scanning cameras and software. There are some attachments you can purchase that attach to a cell phone even, but I am not sure how effective they are. It is also good for replicating damaged freeze work and crown moulding. The costs are generally worth it when you are looking at something the size of your chateau. Plus, you can make it a revenue source, helping other chateau owners with their specific needs (replacements, etc.)
Thank you Michael!! Love having you back, love seeing the chateau in its entirety. Carol from Chateau de la Ferrté has developed a procedure to rebuild those ornate scrolls etc. with plaster and gold leaf. She's done an amazing job in her grande salon. You should check it out.
Great video Michael, I don"t realize how beautiful and grand the fireplace was. You and your family have done a wonderful job restoring it. Love the Chateau more and more, it's an enchanting place to live. You are very lucky. Thanks for sharing sending love and hugs from across the pond ❤
Michael, I could listen to you talk about history all night long. Such beautiful pieces and Billy has great taste in everything he buys. Love the tour so far.
Love the new intro 👍 such beautiful rooms, with some amazing architecture, thanks for the tour and you don't ramble, it's interesting into on the history and symbolism, connected to each era. Fascinating stuff.
That was very interesting, Michael. I love it how you take the time showing us around and allow each room to calmly reveal itself to us. There is beauty in every inch! Thank you for doing this, Michael 🙏🏽 And many thanks to the whole Petherick family for being such heartwarming and welcoming people! 🧡🙏🏽🧡🙏🏽🧡🙏🏽🧡🙏🏽🧡🙏🏽🧡 Sending you warm greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
On Facebook in one the château groups there is a master carver . He worked with Disney . His work is exquisite. He is retired .I’m sure the medalians could be replicated or like others that didn’t carve their own they made molds from existing ones. And used plaster. I’m so glad you are back. Your knowledge, talent and fun loving personality was missed. I prayed for you many days. Not that you would come back to RU-vid but that you were happy. You give us so much and so we don’t want to just take . The timber of your voice and your presence giving us a tour has a way of transporting us on RU-vid straight into the Chateau. Thank you for your hard work and time of filming and editing . I am super proud of your achievements and I don’t even know you. If you take on another chateau project I know you could make the basement kitchen the envy of any Chateau owner . Your skill set and eye for design is perfection. May you be very blessed .
The "pool table" is probably a snooker table considering the large dimensions of it. It's definitely not a billiard table because they have no pockets. But anyways a great item for in a large house like this.😉
Such a beautiful chateau. Thanks for sharing the history of each room. Always sad to hear how see how people neglect and take from a place. You’re all doing a fabulous job restoring as you go. Each generation leaves its mark to a home. Thank you for sharing!
Most days I’m on my own opening and closing each room for the day at work. It is these moments that I get to appreciate the incredible craftsmanship that goes into these stunningly beautiful rooms. There are a lot of similarities that caught my attention with Chateau de la Basmaignee and Highclere. Thankyou for such an inspiration vlog. Hopefully one day you will get to see these similarities for yourself 😉
Michael you are truly a lovely guy. I've always watched your channel. You are a joy to watch and listen to. Your knowledge of things is outstanding, I really love your story telling. I'm enjoying learning and seeing more of that beautiful chatteue. I enjoy watching yours and Billy's channel.
The dining room is beautiful. Billiard room is handsome. Very nice start on the salon. Great job! Just a suggestion: Don't be bashful about not knowing some historical aspect or art detail. It's okay. We are all learners. No one demands that you be an expert. There are plenty of libraries and online resources for one to conduct detailed research. It is refreshing that there are people like you who want to breathe life into these forgotten structures.
Everytime I see your Chateau rooms I am amazed all over again. I have to say your camera quailty is so good it is like seeing some of the features for th first time. So So glad you and your cute cameraman are back.
Thank you so much Michael . You give lovely informative tours . Well , all the Pethericks are quite skilled and hard working ; you seem to have a talented for the history of the chateau among your many talents . Be safe , be well , and prosper .
Thanks so much for figuring out the best way to create stunning videos again! The B roll and music raise the bar, but the simple, candid content is very much appreciated! ♥
Michael I am so glad you are doing vlogs again!!! I missed seeing you, on some truly hard days for me you lifted my spirits, I cannot thank you enough for that!!! Looking forward to seeing more videos. Love & gratitude from Flagstaff Az USA
So lovely to see you again. I was wondering why don’t you make moulds of the missing gilded wood work so you can then replace them with plaster or resin casts.
What a beautiful Tour of the chateau that is being lovingly restored to its former glory! Your family is very talented and we love you Michael, Billy, Gwen, kiddos, Mom and Dad and your sis. Keep up the great work.
So glad you are back!!! You mentioned you are having issues replacing the missing moldings in the grand salon. I had a similar issue and we made a mold from the remaining pieces so we could duplicate the missing pieces in resin.
It is gorgeous! Wish they would remodel or fix our mansions here in USA instead of letting them rot away! Thank You Michael for taking us though that amazing building. And goodness that is such a massive and beautiful chandelier! Mine is about 100 yrs old and was in a mansion. They had it stored in the attic with others and we were fortunate enough to inherit it. There were some crystals missing so I ordered them and fixed it. We installed it in our dining area. Anyways, sending you all Many blessings dear!💕💕💕💕💕
Oh Michael darling 😍❤ Wow I'm so happy watching you I absolutely enjoyed this tku In all everything you and Billy have done is absolutely beautiful truly Mind you I know Gwen helped a wee bit 😉 and the family... But my goodness I truly love you And I'm smiling watching this Your such a treasure Michael 🕊🌟 Can't wait to see the next video Tell then stay safe and well 🙏🏼💕 Please give my love to the family💐
