The house in São José do Barreiro is designed to integrate with the town’s historical context, connecting with its past from the coffee boom era of the late 19th century. The challenge was to create a space that engages with the community, using traditional construction techniques within a limited budget. The garden, with plants that reappeared from the homeowner's mother's time, forms a unique connection to the land, creating a botanical and emotional heritage. This architectural space blends the past and present, honoring the tranquility and spirit of São José do Barreiro.
