Oh dear old me! Jeanette is well and truly buzzzzzing! And spring hasn’t kicked in yet! Would that be the haircut effect, I wonder? Or all these amazing things coming out of the Clegg’s beehive? Just about managed to snap up the last bag in your shop, naughty Etsy didn’t ring the warning bell 🤥🤔😨And these mushrooms cum pincushions are Amazing! Must, have to make one too! Have a lovely week ahead!
I’m sorry Etsy didn’t let you know Nathalie. I’m honestly thinking of changing to a kofi shop. Etsy are getting so so greedy that half the time it doesn’t seem worth working for, and then they don’t let you know I’ve update my shop. 😩😩 so frustrating for you.
Love the hair Jeanette, I am not a knitter but Claire who makes things (RU-vid name) made all of them last year and I am sure could advise. Personally I would make plain sleeves. Good luck and thanks for the video and the fun😊
Great advise. I’ve decided to have a go with plain sleeves, it was Claire who treated me to the pattern for the advent sweaters. I love her, she’s such a talented lady. ❤️❤️
Love your hair! I committed to short hair again as well. Remember for Tim’s sweater to use lots of stitch markers (beginning and end of each cable and change of stitches). It seems like overkill, but so worth it to keep the mind working properly.
One row at a time! I can’t remember the pattern, but if the sleeves have cables/pattern start with a sleeve and get into the flow. Have fun! Love the box!!!
Lovely new look...and your reading shawl is fabulous, I really love the shape of it and I would think that this allows it to sit beautifully on your shoulders. On your little Christmas Jumpers, would you consider knitting the sleeves in one colour and doing a sneaky duplicate stitch for the pattern? They are so cute and you could just have the pattern just after the cuff which would not take away from the overall effect.?? What do you think? As always, your toy makes are beautiful and the new colourway is exactly right....
Hi Jeanette love your hair and I love your little bear too I'm looking for a large project bag to buy with my dad's inheritance so I have something practical to keep using xxx
Hi Jeanette, so happy to see you again. You mentioned you were a subscriber of the doll club, can you tell me the name of the club so i can have a nosey round 😀. Thank you xx
Isn’t that weird , my hair was like yours before you cut and then on Thursday I thought had enough and got it cut short just like yours and I love it on you beautiful must be a libra thing lol xx
Jeanette I love your hair! Regarding the little jumpers, I would do the colour work on the jumper like you've done and then go with plain sleeves. Will look lovely
Oh Jeanette- The pincushion for Karen is just amazing. I love it so much and I am going to try and make one for myself. You showed us such beautiful things today. As always you inspire me. This was such a wonderful podcast full of enthusiasm and love for our crafting hobbies. Thank you so much . 🍄😊🍄
Dear One, I’m SOOOOOOO HAPPY TO SEE & HEAR “YOU” AGAIN❤️😘😘❤️It seems like it’s been ages & ages since your last Pod Cast, WELCOME BACK❣️❣️I have REALLY MISSED YOU & YOUR WONDERFUL POSTS❤️‼️❤️As always, You & Tim too, Stay Well, Stay Happy, & Be Safe No Matter Where You Go, Barbara (S.E. Ohio, U.S.A.)
Your haircut is beautiful! You could do the sweater patterns -and not make the sleeves-make them into little bags -which would also be adorable.Pretty -shawl-I love the Reading shawl- I have made three. I gave 2 as gifts and kept one. I love the pattern. Your traveling sewing case is lovely
I love your hair Jeanette it looks lovely and easy to care for , I retired 4 years ago and I had mine cut short life is to short to be faffing about with long hair... your makes are beautiful as always , love the yarn you both dyed it is gorgeous, so glad you all had a wonderful time with your daughter , Thank you for taking the time to vlog and share your beautiful makes with us x x x x
Yes short hair is so much easier, and I totally agree life it to short to be sat in front of a mirror every other day for an hair messing with hair. Think of all that crafting time I was losing. Lol lol
Thanks again dear Jeanette for a fun episode!! It’s so wonderful to see your excitement and enthusiasm towards your crafts 😊 I’m exactly the same!! Love your sewing case - such a nifty idea. Have a fabulous week xx
Hi Jeanette, that was such an enjoyable podcast, I love it when you ask "can ya see it"? when you're holding items up to the screen....I always answer you😂. Your makes are such fun. Love the mouse you've sewn, and the jewellery box sewing case, well I love everything you've shown. Tim's very clever with the creme egg colourway yarn, LOVE it!
Hi Jeanette ,I'm loving the "new" hair! I'm a short hair person and it's so easy to maintain . Thanks for another lovely vlog ,I missed tou last week but family first ,always ❤ see you next week x
For the Advent sweater, could you knit the sleeves the plain white color? So, don't do the color work? I think that's what I would do. I love your shawl and all of your other makes! So many cute things! 🥰 I love your hair cut too!! I like mine short best too.
Hello Jeanette, super episode, you’ve been so very busy with all your many makings! Love the felt owl, it’s adorable and your travelling sewing box is beautiful. Your Agatha Reading Shawl is stunning and it looks really gorgeous too. Keep cosy and take care 🧵🧶💕
You really suit your new hair do…..love it! Your owl is looking gorgeous and the little bear on 1.5 hook is going to be so adorable…..can’t wait to see that finished. I loved your pin cushion too.
The lady who is Ophelia talks has a tutorial for Agatha’s reading shawl so it’s on my hook tomorrow . I love all your projects the sewing case is adorable. Love the short hair mine is very similar. Thanks for sharing. Julie, Tasmania, Australia ❤❤
Hi Jeanette, I really like the haircut. The jewellery turned sewing box is fab, how kind of Karen to send it to you with instructions. You've been very industrious with your wips and makes, and the Cadbury's egg yarn is great xx
Hi Jeanette, your hair looks fabulous! Wish I had the courage to shop mine off lol. It's really long & knots. I love your cream egg yarn! Awesome job to you and Tim for making that. And my favourite fabric with the cream egg on it is the teal. Lucky lady with the box of yarn of every colour. Wow! Mandy xxx😊
Ooh Jeanette, first off..I love your hair. Second…that little bear is adorable and I can’t wait to see it finished (when you get round to it…no rush) and love the Agatha Reading Shawl! Perfect for those chilly evenings. Now I want one ha ha. Lovely podcast. Thanks.
Love the hair! Could you knit the owl hood plain and duplicate stitch the patterns on? A&C sweaters, just make plain sleeves. The shawl is lovely too. That should help keep your shoulder nice and warm too.
Love your hair, that’s how I would like mine but I haven’t had a haircut in two years, just grown it. But I’m fed up of it too, only problem is I hate going to the hairdressers!! Love your makes and delighted to see how you made your sewing box. I’ve started gathering bits and pieces to decorate it. Keep well, Fiona
Was so nice to see u again with your new lovely hairdo. You have been busy with all your lovely makes. Cant wait to do the owl, just got my book. Such a good match with the wool you two are very clever😊
Hi Jeanette, I recommend the magic loop for the sleeves. That's how I have done mine, including the sweater body. I am going to try a 9" circular for the body of the next one, though. Just to see which I prefer! If you still find you aren't enjoying the colourwork sleeve experience, then I would suggest plain sleeves. I intend to make some of mine with plain sleeves. Love all your makes and your new "do." ❤ I had mine cut short 6 months ago, and I love it. So, so much easier to look after and much more comfortable when having a "tropical moment." See you next time
Oh Julie I totally agree with the short hair and tropical moment 😂😂 I’m going to do the sleeves plain and on magic loop. I’ll let you all know how I get on. Xxx
@@craftycleggscreations hi Jeanette I’m doing better now did have two infections and very low white blood cells. Had a course of antibiotics and it’s all cleared up now. Xx
I love your new haircut!! It is so stylish. I really like the fabrics you chose for the craft bags. The crochet along kit looks like fun. It had been warm here in Connecticut USA but this week we have had 3 snowstorms. Finally feels like winter. So happy to know your shoulder is healed. Happy Crafting.
Oh Jeanette, your hair looks amazing. I love it!! Your owl is beautiful, I'm very tempted but have sooooo many wips at the moment. I really need to take myself in hand! 😍😂🙃
Love your short hair Jeanette! I’m exactly like you and think I’ll grow mine a bit and it drives me crazy! Definitely a short style girl! Don’t stress over the mini- jumpers! Personally I would scrap them cos life is too short to fiddle with a project you don’t enjoy! You could probably do plain sleeves but really ?? Would you bother 🤣 Loving the owl and the mouse! Happy Anniversary (belated) xx
Thankyou for another lovely video Jeanette, I was just like you with the little Arne and Carlos jumper, mine ended up in the bin! 😢 Also just like you with the hair - I caught sight of myself in the mirror in M&S and messaged my hairdresser straightaway!! Much easier short!
Short hair is a must for me now, it use to take me so long to dry it, now it’s short 5 minutes I’m in the shower hair dried and back with crochet hook in hand. Lol lol
Your little advent sweaters are cute, how about making the sleeves just plain I think that would still look amazing. Loving your new amigurumi doll going to be so cute . I’m just waiting for my yarn to arrive to start the 12 birds of Christmas as I really admired yours. Unfortunately I can’t quite afford the toft yarn so I’m doing them in acrylic, really looking forward to starting. Your felt bird is looking awesome and the Agatha’s reading shawl is gorgeous. The travel sewing box is amazing. Stay safe love and hugs xx
Oh Anne you will really enjoy making the Toft birds, I really had a lot of fun. It doesn’t matter what yarn you use as long as you enjoy the process. Xx
Advent sweaters, frog it. Since you sew, can you adjust/ create a pattern for the sweaters, then appliqué the numbers or embroider the numbers? It’s just a suggestion. Love the dolls and everything and your energy!
Jeanette you look great your hair is lovely ❤ I love all the makes your shawl is gorgeous. Oh I love your travel sewing box😊 I might make one for my cross stitch supplies oh I love it. Have a lovely week x
Lovely catch up once again. Great projects. Looking forward to seeing your box of themed sea items as you make them. Thank you for sharing your treats and projects. Sian from Wrexham 😊😊
What I do for small circumference sleeves like yours is use two 16” circular needles putting half the round on each. You could watch a RU-vid tutorial for knitting socks on two circs. You just knit with the ends of the same circular needle on each side. Much better than dpns. If I use dpns for such a small piece, I have 4” needles, not long ones.
Lovely to catch up with you again Jeanette and I love all of your makes, as always. The owl is adorable. I'm still tempted with that book but I'm trying to resist for now 😉 And then just when I thought I can't possibly buy any more yarn, you show us the Ricorumi Spring Cal box.. 😂😂 Happy crafting and have a lovely evening xxx
Hi Steph Hope your keeping well. You’d love Simone latest book, it’s such a beautiful book but I totally understand and resisting temptation, these days there’s just so many stunning things to make it’s hard to choose just one!!! I have not even seen anything regarding the spring cal yet but at least you get a taster with the picture on the box. X
Hi Jeanette hope you are well. With regards to the Advent Sweaters, Andrew of Albanach Knitter has knitted some of them so perhaps you would be able to contact him.He is a Priest who lives on the Isle of Arran.and is a 'with it ' chap who is a luvly man.Contact Andrew before you frog it.Ive just started crochet lessons and I LUV IT'.wish you luck Pauline Essex.xx
Love your hair Jeanette and your shawl is beautiful, my box has been sitting for a few weeks waiting to be decorated but I’m scared to pull it apart, you made a beautiful job of yours 😘
Your hair do is really lovely Jeanette. It suits you. Just a suggestion could you knit the jumper sleeves on straight needles? I think that would be easier.
Love the short hair, it really suits you. Can't see the yarn in your shop 😔 has it sold out already? For the advent sweaters: you could leave off the sleeves and turn them into little pockets instead 🙂
Thank you so much, I’m really happy with my new short hair, so much easier. Yes I’m afraid the yarn has sold out, we may be able to restock before Easter but unfortunately I can’t guarantee. X
I really enjoyed your podcast, thank you Jeanette. Your hair is looking fabulous. You are such a talented lady and inspire me to craft more. I am just beginning my first ever TOFT after seeing your advents - I am doing Bo the Chinese Dragon. I haven't done much amigurumi before. Also, I want to learn to knit in the round and have been looking at some DPNs - flyers (bendy in the middle). Do you ever use these? I wondered if they would be any good for your little sweaters. Look forward to next weekend's podcast.
Hi there Jeanette, I was wondering if it would be just easier to knit the little sleeves in a straight and then when you are ready to sew(knit)them in the round just stitch them together. It would be a shame to see you frog it after all of the hard work and the hours that you have put into it.
I just so truly love to listen to you talk to us. I’m just over here giggling that they were just tiny bad words, 🫣😉🤪. Hilarious!! Glad y’all are home and you got to spend time with your daughter!
So pleased you enjoyed the video. I had an absolute ball at my daughters, I love going to visit. Her and her wife Justina live in such a beautiful part of the county that I always feel like I’m on holiday. Xx
