There was a lot of talk before this battle happened. Two iconic rap groups that were, not only staples, but leaders of the 90s hip hop scene. Beezy 430 represented A Tribe Called Quest and Granddad Woolly represented De La Soul. The battle of two of the biggest groups from the Native Tongues collective. Granddad played it masterfully. Honestly, in the moment, with the momentum and energy, I would've probably voted for Rock Co.Kane Flow. And then probably regretted it, because Scenario should not lose. But he sold it very well. And Feel Good Inc. was perfect to close it. Riding off the hype, throwing a curveball and yet a very popular song was the way to go. It being polarizing worked in its favor. People were disrespecting the song in the comments, so it kinda became stroctly hip hop listeners vs more diversified taste.

They did Dilla vs Dre a loooooooong time ago, unfortunatelly people weren't too familiar with Dilla joints and Dre is just super popular so..they Never did madlib though

I love both groups! The low end theory was my favorite album, I played that TAPE so much I had to buy the cd. Midnight marauders was incredible too. With that being said De La had a more consistent catalog. All their albums were good!

Was it scenario or the scenario remix? There is a big difference. There is a youngin now that sampled pieces of the remix I be hearing it on Shade 45. Did he play Saturday by Dela?

Sounds like they played the original scenario. When they did Missy vs busta, he played the original. Also said he started play Saturday by De La, 7:04 but went with Feel Good Inc instead.
