It is very sad that Marias passing wasn't more mentioned. She had a beautiful voice and amazing songs that will live for ever. She seemed like a lovely person too.
I guess it would be a nice touch. But, they don't need a silly awards show to solidify their greatness in rock history. They've proven themselves through their music.
Was extremely rude of the Grammy awards to not acknowledge Roxette and Marie in the obituaries. Totally disrespectful to not have her in their tributes. So disgraceful. Glad I never watched it on TV. Would've been a waste of time. Shame on them.
They wrote together actually. She was a great songwriter and co-producer, and their combined, hard efforts are what lies behind the success of Roxette.
R.I.P Marie. Gessle is a living legend. I love him and his music more than words can describe. They helped me through life. And I just hope we can enjoy more of his magic songwriting, though without Marie things will never be the same.❤️

Roxette was my favorite band when I was a kid, and now as an adult I still really like it. Life is really short, you can be successful, rich, famous, or whatever, but we all can die in one second. It makes me really sad that she passed away. She and her songs will be in our hearts. Thank you, Marie for your love and dedication to music, and for make our lives better. Top 3 female vocalists in Sweden no doubt. She mastered the most different singstyles she took in her mouth and had an amazing voice. We in Sweden has lost one of the best we ever had and ever will get. Rest in peace Marie and thank you for your great songs both with Roxette and solo 🌷

I'm a 48 year old man who's not ashamed to admit that I have a tear in my eye watching. Well sung Per,that rendition of that beautiful song couldn't have been easy emotionally. When one half of a VERY successful duo passes away(eg Laurel and Hardy also springs to mind) it MUST be heart wretching. I know it is saddest for Marie's family but my prayers 🙏are also with you too,Pers.🎸😭
We will always Love our Marie Frederickson but we must always remember that Per Gessle (The Guy singing on the Guitar for those that may NOT know) wrote all of those songs and the music (piano, guitars and drums) for her and he is the man that always sang back up and did everything in support of Marie..... Marie was the beautiful face, voice and Heart but Per Gessel was the Central Nervous System and everything thing else in the BODY of the Band..... Not to leave out the other band members (they are all Awesome) but Per Gessle is very much "Roxette."

I cried so much. I wish Per sang the whole thing by himself, but another singer stepped in. I understand its probably cause its difficultto sing it now. Gosh, it must be so hard for him to sing this song thinking of his partner. My favorite song in the whole world. Rest in peace, Marie. I love you both.

Only just seen this. Burst out crying. Still doesn't seem real. Remember reading an fan club interview about this song and Per said it was really hard to sing, and that he couldn't sing it on the demo. He also said he wrote it for Marie. Must have been a very difficult moment for him, many bittersweet memories.

Here I am again, crying. Marie was not your typical diva. She acted proper, kind, ungreedy. She was graceful. I cry over her death, because most artists I listen to whom have died, did themselves in. She didn't. I can't imagine the pain she suffered. 13 years with brain tumor issues. But she kept performing, because she was that devoted to her fans. She was the one true diva. She didn't need diamonds. She had grace. RIP, Marie. I miss you.
