my story about RADIO THE LATE well,i regret not meeting him before he kicked the bucket, radio was a genius, i only got to know he was way too much of what we didn't realise..... u can imagine most artists in uganda knew how powerful he was but SOME feared him and some envied him and frustrated him.... i mean it. moses radio wrote so many popular songs in his ten year reign that you cant imagine. i attended many of his concerts but if u really wanted to know how sweet and amazing he was.... .u would have to listen to his voice without instruments. he would stop the instruments..and sing ..... damn, that is a part i cant explain... he hit the notes no one would..i am so sure. actually he wrote songs fo pple and they couldnt sing them.. .neera was written for rema, but it was too much for her,,it doesnt mean rema is not good, but those notes and lyrics were just tick and soo good... .that she felt it was not for her...can u find neera by radio ...and play it..and focs on his voice...please do. many would not understand one of his last songs ....called nakessa...(meaning.... will i make tomorrow from the night) i am writing this feeling a shiver... that is a song that will get to your bone marrows, to the last nerve ending in you toes and gets you thinking how a hell did moses sing, where did he get lyrics.. .infact jose chameloene calls moses radio a mad man.. .he did what normal pple couldnt....and this was one song..... song chameloene says is number number from the late. nakessa is a song that will get u thinking .... yes you can cry because of a song.... i grew up listening to RAW way back in 2006..... one day i had to come seat next to the radio when on of their first songs... lwaki onumya... my sister couldnt get it..... i knew that was the future of our music.it was unique, they were young, he was human he made mistakes but his good deeds outnumbered the few brawls he had done. he didnt deserve that kind of death. some are happy they ended his dominance, ....yes his enemies... he had a hit song every month and 2,3,4,5,6... dont doubt it. actually he wrote and recorded every day according to his producers.... his musical nature was to sing daily..and for slow producers they had tough times.... he one day said..his muscles are in his neck(vocals),this meant he didnt have strength to fight but he was powerful. moses radio let his vulnerability become his strength, his small body didnt stop his to work so hard, sing so sweetly... and i learnt ur weak spot could be your point of strength. he openend his heart and let love flow from his craft..and this risk made him an icon. a legend, sometimes we hide and let close our hearts in fear of being hurt...he opened his heart and won ours. rest in peace.... he was one in a century, and he is a legend. even when you are gone your music still lives on. thanks coke studio. #neera #nakessa #lwakinumya #ole #zuena ##pollination #talkandtalk........#dudu #cantletyougo......
Whenever I open my youtube homepage, I find a Mowzey Radio video recommendation and I feel so bad that we can't meet anymore. I miss you bro. Rest in eternal peace soldier.#Tambulanange. And great thanks to Coke Studio Africa for this tribute.
Moses like his namesake in the bible led through murky waters..the road was unclear..its was a time of change..a new dawn was upon us.. people didn't get it..but he led. He wasn't afraid to be different. He was and is a movement. He lived his purpose. Salute to weasle for pushing forward. Thank you goodlyfe for the music. He created a new game..he paved way...he was amazing. As an entrepreneur he truly emulated persistence.passion .hardwork and success..which we all hope to have one day. Forever inspired by a genius of his time n the 10years of impact. Thank you coke studio for shining a light on excellence.
