Sorry to hear the demise of Corsair 111 but at least the crew survived. The sea is a cruel mistress, nobodies immune from her might. Those stormy sea conditions are incredible. Thank you for the videos, I enjoy them immensely.

So glad that everyone is safe and well. Unless there was a mechanical problem, does anybody else see the irony of a pilot boat running into a reef???

Very fortunate lads. I watched a video from Sal this morning and he described it perfectly “ the water is great but it’s one purpose in life is to try and kill you, your job is to make it safe “

Having navigated the rip many times. It is hard each time it's different and with the weather conditions and the time this happened would be horrifying. Even for the most experienced of captains. Glad everyone is safe.

Reef was there for few hundred million years but he eventually found it.
