Few years back, Sourendro Soumyojit staged a live concert on poetry and music , where Rituparno Ghosh featured to recite the poems, over the days of rehearsals the duo developed a bond with the master film maker. It is after the demise of Rituparno Ghosh that the duo planned a tribute musical act as a parting gift to their Rituda. A collage of Rituparno film songs were weaved with his recitation of poems. In a way this music video shall always evoke the feeling that death cannot cease an artiste. His art shall continue to inspire the coming generations and shall continue to live as long as Indian Cinema shines bright. We are grateful to all the producers and the record labels for using their songs to weave this garland of memories for Rituparno Ghosh, as a gift on his 55th birthday.

"Remember me when I'm gone..." বুকের ভিতরটা যেন হঠাৎ করে খালি হয়ে গেলো লাইন টা শুনে... ওনার চিত্র পরিচালনা, অভিনয়, গান এইসব নিয়ে কিছু বলার ধৃষ্টতা আমার নেই... আমার কাছে উনি এক revolutionary... আমাকে এবং আমার মতো আরো অনেককে উনি নিজেকে চিনতে, নিজেকে নিজে accept করতে আর সমাজের সঙ্গে লড়াই করে সেই acceptance কে আদায় করে নিতে শিখিয়েছেন উনি... ভালো থেকো ঋতু দা....

Rituporno was an amazing filmmaker. He represented the Bengali culture with a lot of love. I absolutely fell in love with durga puja and the festivities around it after watching Utshob. Bengal needs more makers like him.

অসাধারণ 👌👌👌 আমি ঋতুদার খুব ছোট্ট ভক্ত ! ওনার মৃত্যুতে আমি খুবই শোকাহত, Sourendro Da, এবং Soumyojit Da আমি তোমাদের খুব follow করি। আমি এতগুলো কথা বলছি কারন, ঋতুদার "গানের ওপারে" আমি একনিষ্ঠ দর্শক। ওনার অসামান্য কাজ, ও প্রতিভা প্রতি আমার বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা জানাই। আপনাদের গানের আমি খুবই অনুরাগী, " গানের ওপারে " গান শুনে রবিঠাকুর ও রবীন্দ্রসংগীত প্রতি আগ্রহ জন্মায়এবং একটু আদ্রু গান শেখা শুরু। বিশেষ করে "আমি রূপে তোমায় ভোলাবনা " Outstanding 👌👌 সকাল সকাল Tribute শুনে খুব ভালো লাগলো। আপনাদের গান আমাকে খুব Inspire করে। ধন্যবাদ, ভালো থাকবেন 💐💐

Dada জানেন একসময় আমার একলা সময় কাটতো ঋতুদার film দেখে।তখন জানতাম ও না চোখের বালি 19 শে april raincoat এগুলো শুধু ভালো film ই না।এগুলোর director একজনই।Rituporno Ghosh.আজকাল আর তার film এর poster দেখিনা।খুব miss করি সেই সব স্কুল পালিয়ে movie দেখতে যাওয়াটা।এখন অবশ্য আমি clgএ।আজ উনি বেঁচে থাকলে একবার অন্তত meet করতাম।তবে তোমরা দুজন s দাদা খুব ভালো জানো-যাদের সঙ্গে rituda এত সময় কাটিয়েছে। তারা নিজেদের film কাজ নিয়ে ব্যস্ত।তোমারই লোকটাকে বাঁচিয়ে রেখেছো এখনও।ছ বছর পরেও।

I don't want to comment on the perfect song choices and the beautiful singing. Just one observation The lighting and shot composition in your recent videos are miles better than the ones you used to put up earlier. Also, the studio looks gorgeous.
