Before you freak out, Sean Young is still very much alive :)
I've been rewatching my collection of her films and it has been a great nostalgia high. I was obsessed with her and her movies as a young teen, so delving back into her works has brought back a lot of memories.
I put this together to show my appreciation for her work and to say "Thank you" for providing years of entertainment. I never stopped being a fan. While I cannot include all her films (she's been in so many), I chose to focus on the ones which hold a special place for me. The films and moments which hold the most nostalgia and bring a smile to my face. I chose this particular song because it has sentimental value for Sean Young.

Loved her In Blade Runner as Rachael. Sean was completely screwed over by Hollywood. She opened her mouth about it and they planted her like a tent peg.

Beauty is very subjective, of course… That being said, and as far as I am concerned, Sean Young is all the way up there, all by herself, with no serious contender in terms of looks and talent in the North American Cinema Industry anyway. A breathtaking beautiful woman, with perfect features, a unique tone of voice and delivery (almost masculine), a great actress and a very down-to-earth, no-bullshit personality to boot. We, movie lovers, can consider ourselves lucky that Ridley Scott crossed her path and knew how to magnify her extraordinary beauty on screen as he magnified Carole Bouquet's perfect features in 2 Chanel 5's commercials a long time ago. Another out-of-this-world beauty who was born in Versailles two years before Sean. Both actresses have a lot in common: Ridley Scott, color of hair, perfect features, tone of voice and delivery (quite masculine), great acting ability, very down-to-earth, no-bullshit personality, intelligence and clear sense of humor. Carole is, like Sean, a Formula One racing car that the French Cinema did not know how to handle/employ at the beginning. Almost too beautiful for the Silver Screen (which is kind of ironic!), and definitely intimidating in real life (she literally scared guys away!). I forgot she was in Stripes, strange this wasn't highlighted in iMDb, as that is by far a better movie than Blade Runner. Funniest Bill Murray movie ever (even better than Ghostbusters and Caddyshack).
