they were so pretty, I thought zsa zsa was the prettiest. although they were known for their beauty, money, and lifestyles, they were very funny! I was familiar with eva and zsa zsa, but the third sister, magda, was really not in the public eye so much as the others.
The Gabor sisters really were beautiful, and oozed class..they were all much better actresses than they have been given credit for and also highly educated. I hope that they made the most of life and enjoyed everything that they did, time just goes so very, very quickly for all of us and as "pelucitadered" so rightly says "Alas even the greenest leaves must go brown, shrivel up and die"
Lovely comment. There are only two books I have ever re read and they are both by the Gabors (Jolie and Zsa Zsa's autobiographies). So funny and what exciting lives they lead. I hate to think of Zsa Zsa ending up like she has.
I don't believe they did much acting. As you said, class, beauty, intelligent. To top things off they had their original noses. They don't make women like that anymore. Your quote is beautiful, thanks I will remember that one. JED LINNEN Those titles were bought her husband's Prince something or other. Didn't like him. A womanizer. I am sure she still keeps em laughing in their home or nursing home.
Love them both. Especially whichever one played on Green Acres. That sure took out of her acting comfort zone, doing that show, but she did it so very great and with style and graceI adored their clothes they wore also.
I think Zsa Zsa's nose was perfection for her face. She was regal...what a gift to be that beautiful. Life really is a crap shoot. You get what you were meant to get..nothing more.
true her & zsa zsa look somuch a like...But I can still tell them apart..They were all so Beautiful!!!,,,Zsa zsa is still living age 97...Bless her heart
@@psidvicious The Gabors' parents were Ashkenazi Jews who converted to Catholicism in 1928, though this didn't prevent Magda and her mother from being targeted by the Nazis. Although the Gabors had converted from Judaism to Catholicism in 1928, eldest sister Magda and their parents were arrested. “Magda had been involved in the anti-Nazi underground,” said Staggs. “Fortunately, she also was the lover of the Portuguese ambassador. He pulled strings and got them released.” During World War II, Magda became active in resistance activities as a driver for the International Red Cross. An affair with the Portuguese consul gave her access to false papers, which saved the lives of many, including her parents. Jews converting to Catholicism in Hungary wasn't uncommon. Jews weren't allowed to do many things there, particularly in social and business settings. Many converted just to be more accepted in society there.
eva was on green acres and was the youngest. she died 19 years ago, i adore them and i adore zsa zsa she will be 98 in 2015 this year, how sad her daughter francesca just died she was 67 and zsa zsa is still living, also zsa zsa gabors house is the house elvis presley owned in bel air when he came to l a to make movies. i also heard that the gabors were hungarian jews and actually most hungarians are not jews. but i have read that many times that they are
