@Rusty only shows how similar their voices are When listening to the album that Jay, Merrill and jimmy made I noticed they all have their own voice but sometimes wondered who was singing the part This is Wayne, Merrills voice is bit more raw. But to be honest I never knew he was the singer :-)
This is Wayne. I'm speechless. I always thought this was Merrill. This was my sister wedding song in church and I sang it for her. I was 15. This is one of the most beautiful osmond songs. My sister has passed away in 2001. I would love to tell her this is Wayne singing. But I guess she knows . Great song writing and beautiful arrangement. Who sang "girl"? Who sang "what could it be"? Another beautiful song. I have so many questions. Lol thank you to all the osmonds for making my life a little better. And now confused!
Wayne is a class act. He is so funny and kind. He is a survivor. He survived brain cancer and had to retire because he had a stroke. He wrote a really funny book. I hope he is doing well. He is in my prayers.

I thought it was a Stroke! Dear God, please look over this Wonderful Man. His Family needs him and loves him oh so much. You have protected them so many times over, please protect them again. My Prayers are out to you Wayne. The Mormon Community was so supportive of My Mother and I after My Father and I died and although we are not Mormons ourselves, we have heard and honored his word in a different way.
Wayne is so talented. He knows how to play nine musical instruments which is more than what any other Osmond can play. His wife was Miss Utah 1974. She is absolutely stunning.

Great tribute. I was kid back in the 70s and liked the Osmonds back then. Looking back now and looking at today, you really do get an appreciation of how talent was back then, If you didn't have it, no one would ever know you. Now look at the state of it Simon !!. Anyway, Great family, wonderful talent and you will be greatly missed by all of us 70s er's. Time takes no prisoners but still helps to heal wounds....
Hi Peter, a clever choice of song being one that Wayne wrote, its been one of my favourites since the album first came out, what a wonderful video too very "lovingly" put together, thank you Peter for sharing it with us, I'm thrilled that Wayne did see it too and I hope with all my heart that he will be with us for at least another 2-3 decades with good health....Love you lots Wayne get 100% healthy... xOx
Praying for Wayne - such a lovely man, so gentle - (even though I was a Donny fan back in the 70's, and my mom commented then how nice Wayne was - can see it now I am older with a bit more life experience). Jimmy was on ITV (UK) today and said that Wayne is not well - it has returned, the cancer :( I am so sad, but praying.
P.S. so nice to learn (from a comment below), that Wayne wrote this beautiful song. It is so sensitive, which is what I see in his face. The words and the music blend so well. Well done to all who worked on it.
I had the pleasure of seeing Wayne perform with Merrill and Jay in Branson in 2010. Wayne was so full of energy and was his usual "hamming-it-up" self. I bought a backstage pass for in-between sets. They were all very down-to-earth...they signed my copy of their first "rock" album ("Osmonds"). I also bought Wayne's "Laugh Lines" book which is excellent and very humorous Hope you're doing alright, Wayne. God bless you and the you entire family
Oh, I didn't know that Wayne retired. When was that? It's so sad; I've loved the Osmonds for so long not only because they are all amazing musicians with multiple talents. Any one of them could be the lead singer. They played many instruments each. But mostly, I love them for always staying true to their Faith and high standards. What an example to the world. All that adulation never went to their heads. Wayne was the one who caught my eye, though. I hope we haven't heard the last from you Wayne

another glimpse of his personality I saw a clip of him singing to "hearing impaired" at a branson show. Amounts to they nicely sang a line and he screamed it (like you scream at a old person who is deaf since they can't hear any better as a deaf person when u scream but you still try.

A Great tribute, but do you really retire from the greatest family singing group in the world, or do you just get to pick and choose the dates and places you want to perform. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of Wayne.
