i live in kathmandu. i know the city is beautiful but didn't know it was this beautiful. despite the air pollution, bad roads(in some areas), traffic jams, inflation etc this city will always be the best place in the world for me. Buddhists believe that Kathmandu valley is a 'beyul' a sacred valley blessed by Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche(the second Buddha). If you are person with a creative or spiritual sensibility you will feel a special connectiion with this city.
