A trip in Shanghai with the new "Shanghai Pass" 

In Shanghai, people often use WeChat or Alipay instead of cash to pay for things. But these things require IDs to set up. But right now, there's a new product called the "Shanghai Pass". This is basically like a transit card that you can charge up and use, but it has a lot of added features. You can use it on public transportation, get into tourist attractions and even in some convenience stores and department stores. You don't need any ID at all to purchase one of these cards. You can get them at the airport or in different subway stations across the city. And it makes life in Shanghai a whole lot easier being able to pay with just a card.
The card isn't limited to Shanghai. It also works on public transportation in other cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Qingdao, Chengdu, Sanya and Xiamen.
