Ancient Chechoslovkian tram, cobble, metal squuek, humping, outdated stations, asphalt patched 1000 times and scenery consisting of comunist brutalist palaces, tastless new buildings developped by shady 'entrepreneurs' and lovely late 19th century buildings with neglected facades... Apart from trams being red, feels like home! Greetings from Zagreb, EU capital of inadequte public transportation and architectural chaos!

At 16:24 on the right is a state elementary and high school (no. 18), and on the left you can see students sitting on a demolished building remains. The school has programs in eastern languages, e.g. Japanese.

honestly why not convert all of the rail to standard gauge? i know 75% now is 1009mm gauge but then you got the planned todor kablechkov rail from bulgaria blvd to arena sofia not only that but also the tram ring if all built with standard gauge, the 1009mm gauge section would be around 50% only problem is that we need to get new trams

well if the land above the terminus was never developed then... whats the reason for it to still exist? other than not messing up with traffic i guess... its interesting to see what other socialist countries did with their tram infrastructure, it'd be better than what we had in Romania for the most part...
