This video is why RU-vid exists. Men trying to fix a tank get distracted and have a tug-of-war between a Hilux and a Rover, then back to the task at hand. I learned nothing, and yet am fully entertained.
1 year later in Australia, i sit here, in my break at work. Nearly choking on my bangers and mash, oh, about 6 times. Love this so much. Keep up the great work and the amazing antics. Love it so much.
That was one of the best videos you've uploaded so far, I laughed probably too much but the banter is brilliant! The footage brilliant! Just a great video! Keep it up lads
Oh bloody hell, you bring back memories, I worked on Centurions and Ferret scout cars during my apprentiship. Changing a Cent clutch in the field using a M816 wrecker Crain.
Great vid. It was so kin funny, Cody will be really pleased with the treatment you’re giving his Toymota. Clutch swap looked like bloody ard work, but really cool that everyone lent an and.
For most of us a day playing about with a Centurion would be a great day. But add in sausage rolls, beers hooning about with 4x4s, banter well a fine time. Thanks for sharing
In todays episode (at 7:53) the team learn the essential bushcraft and survival skill of how to build and start a fire using only basic items that are locally sourced in nature. Meanwhile at 10:29 fittermatt tries to reconcile what he’’s just learned with his own understanding of bushcraft. He wonders if he should call her…
If I remember rightly I was told that the clutch had 700 lbs pressure. I certainly recall it was a big lean to hold it out especially as someone would always call a new boy about something just as clutch was out and he was in gear! It would be so embarrassing for REME to drive it into something so your leg shook and you smiled!
I travelled from France via the channel ferry to Folkestone then to Sherborne, overnight at Nether Compton with relative, then to Dorchester. Had a mate who used to run a camping/yomping store there where I picked up some great kit when he was having a clearout.
Vous aite une sacrée équipe de choc que ont adore quesque j'aimerais travailler avec une équipe comme la vôtre surtout pouvoir travailler avec le matériels que vous avais c'est juste génial
as a Land Rover owner (S3 army transportable) i appreciate the alternate use of a Landy, Make Fire !! is that concentration i see on Matts face, or is he ill ?? vary nice video and almost no swearing (industrial language)
repairing a Tank whilst generally fucking about... Good work guys.. reminds me of my Army Days.. Much piss taking and much hilarity.. oh yeah and some actual graft was done..
Love to meet you guys. If you're ever down in Devon, we have the Cobbaton Combat Collection with a Centurion AVRE, Churchill, T-54, T-34 and Comet. There's also a Cromwell wreck (I think) which needs some Hewes love.
@@MrHewes Awesome. I'm not yet in the position to have military vehicles, but I have traded my way into having my own little collection of 18th, 19th and early 20th century military swords! A lot of finicky restoration required, and I can't use a nailgun for it!
Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, deep in the Ukrainian countryside, Joe and his crack team of tank bodgers are hard at work keeping the war machine going 😂👍
