A Trip to Medieval Times in Toronto 

I went to the one in Anaheim with my son in law and grandson in 2014. We,sat in the blue knight's section. It was an interesting experience.

Was there last month and loved it Since I am a horse rider It was very special

Oh yes, I know. :) What I meant to ask was; were your seats (the row) actually close to the arena itself? There are like 5 rows of seats for each colour, I think.

Yay! I'm going this weekend. :) No spoilers please but a few questions: Did they let you choose which row you could sit at? (besides the first and second unless you paid extra) Is it first come first serve? And did they let you pick which knight to cheer for? (I've been 3x and I've gotten a single-coloured knight each time haha so I'd like to get red-and-yellow or black-and-white this time)

I went here yesterday and I looked at the place and I was like "IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE THIS IN THE AD!!! But still had a lot of fun watching the swords create sparks 😀😀😀

Ahhhh it was so much better back in the old days

I thought it was spoiled by the vendors repeatedly pushing their cheesy souvenirs in the arena. That should be left to the entranceway. Nothing says "medieval' like glowing Star Wars type swords and drinking glasses continuously flashing all over the arena. And I think it was made even worse by the fact that the audience was made up mostly of impressionable school children. On the plus side, it's extremely well done with an excellent educational component slipped in there. I really enjoyed the show.

Is Table 5 considered close? I haven't been in 6 years so I don't have too clear of a memory of the arena. :P I'll try to ask them for a double-coloured knight, I suppose. ^-^

Went there in grade 4, it's really a great experience. Would definitely recommend it to anybody!!

This was AWESOME. I wanted to go to this place when I was a kid very badly... Guess I'll have to do it as an adult :D

The red and yellow section and the black and white section were right in the middle of the circle, whereas other colours were on the side. So yeah, I think the best views are in the middle!

Yep, we were very close! I was in the second row, so it was a great view

I ride a Shetland pony named Frankie and he is 10.2 hands tall and I ride him with a western saddle. Then I ride a draft warmblood named Rose and she is 16.3 hands tall and I ride her with a english and sometimes dressage saddle. Still, I would be willing to do anything to have a black Freisian horse like the one that man was riding. I love horses like, Clydesdales, Freisians, Draft horses, and Gypsy vanners more than a regular 14.2 hands tall horse. Im only 14 and Love riding the much bigger horses at the barn I take lessons at. They're canter and trot is alot smoother. Like my instructor says, " Its like riding a giant Cadillac". Which is totally true. 🐎🌼🌻

When I got there they assigned me to table 5 in the red and yellow section (so no, I didn't have a choice. They just put the hat on me.) When I walked in I was instructed where to sit (so again, didn't have a choice, although of course I could sit with the people who I was with.) It was all very organized, but I didn't have any choice of where I was sitting. I won the seats though, so maybe they chose for me beforehand?

the show is good it's fun to go as a guest but you wont wana work there... I was discriminated because of how I look and that i couldn't work in the stables as a squire even though I learned what to do. the management came up with differenct excuses the 3 times I asked. First it was for my safety, 2nd time was I wasn't fast enough, and the 3rd time was they are not hring anyone for that position when new Squires were put in the show the next month. read the job reviews for MT, the management plays "favorites." while i'm thankful ingrid hunt decided to transfer me instead of firing me, I knew she and some others didn't like me for some reason. I knew steve ager has some problem with me, and he saw me put the bridle and halter on. Someone just didn't want me back there

The eating with your hands it because they have no utensils at Medieval Times.

Thank you posting this: now I don't need to go to see just how incredible pathetic Medieval Times is. It is so incredibly historically inaccurate; my God, no one jousted without full plate armour and a jousting helmet. The inaccuracies are appalling, especially the assertion that no one had cutlery!.
