I’m planning a trip to Miyako and neighboring islands and I’m worried about typhoons. I’ve read they run from June-October and I’m not sure when to go. I see you went end of August thru early September. I’m planing to go in September as well or even October. What was your experience with the weather? Would you say September and October are ideal weather-wise? I just want to have nice days at the beach. Thank you! 🙏🏼✨

Miyako island is so so beautiful but the weather is quite unpredictable...! it would be sunny and then it would suddenly rain so much for 20 minutes and then become super sunny again! Every time I go to okinawa/miyako, there is always a typhoon warning up until the day before, but it always ends up okay and sunny :) I hope it is sunny when you go! ☀️
