Even though it was such a strong hand, I think folding kings in that spot was the right play. While not at the table with you (maybe someday), it really seemed like the two hands that made the most sense were QxJc or QxAc, that latter of which seemed more likely. Nice score and better luck for a deeper run next time.

Hind sight, but on the turn with KK...wouldn't a jam be better?? 65k into 290k was begging for a call...could've put him in the blender anyways. Just a thought, maybe a bad one. Good job Ethan!!!

Only afraid of 2 non club aces??? So there's zero chance his opponent was holding the Ac when he led out on the river??? ...I highly doubt that!!! The Ac is THE perfect candidate to check call, check call, lead river. Every street was a very small bet to pot ratio. We'll never know what his opponent had and if he COULD of gotten him off of it...but he'll, I play small buy-in tournaments...what do I know

Don't give the KK fold a 2nd thought. Maybe shove turn w/SPR of 1, but then you may have gotten called anyway. A3d was a punt with the action in front of you. 12BB is time to wait for either a better hand or a chance to bet first.

To be fair it was 6.5BB and you could argue 3 BB with the ante but I still agree with you that it was a fold in that specific spot. There was even a chance that chip leader knocks Foxen out and you ladder up a spot, so for that reason alone it's a fold.

This is a great strategy. Get people to buy action on stake kings so you can punt (win or lose is fine) so you can buy in with your own money and play well to cash and not have to give any away. Pretty crafty..

I hate when I forget my suits and have to recheck after the flop on a suited board. I see that as the biggest tell that best case you only have one card that matches the three out there. Which makes a bluff or shove on the river easier when the fourth club doesn't come out

I know it sounds like I'm "resulting" here, but I think you're consistently overvaluing the suited ace/wheel card combo (not just in this last hand, but in a lot of your vids). Whatever you gain with it being suited, you're losing with the kicker being so low. Think about it - if it wasn't suited, you'd fold soooo fast there, and it's pretty rare that the suit ends up making a difference. It's just too gross when they play something like 44 or the A6o that he had and they're actually in great shape. There's literally not a single hand that you're actually excited to see there.

Hindsight is 20/20 obviously but I think you have to call the River with kings. Folding there put you in a spot where you’re gonna have to win a few flips to get back in it anyway. Your tournament was screwed once you folded. Might’ve been screwed by the ace but it was more screwed by a fold.

You played the kings wrong, final table, anybody with an ace is going to play so you up against an opponent you got kings. You already know the next opponent got the ace. Shove pre flop, better to win a little bit of money, then lose it all.

Dude thinks it’s his birthright to Sun run. Every so often he says things like- “ I opened to X amount with 89 of hearts AND GET MY OPPONENT TO 3 BET ME” To say “GET” my opponent to 3 bet me while holding 8/9 is to say I’m going to get lucky and win this hand and now I’m even happier bc I GOT MY OPPONENT TO 3 BET ME. He also says things in a lot of 40/60 spots that he’s surprised he didn’t win. So you can bet your a#% he’s gotta bink ring on 😂

i woulda just shoved turn on that second kk hand, too big a risk your opponent has ace of clubs and you can't get value on the river from anything that doesn't beat you. and the a3 is a fold.

I thought you played masterfully, but I wish you called the shove with kings when the river was an ace. It's no easy call and either play can be argued as good or bad, but given the stack sizes, I'm always calling and falling on my sword. Anyway, congratulations and thanks for sharing.
