She deserves diamonds for that! Boy you best give that woman whatever she asks for. God bless Mrs Viking for saving the day again 😇 Certified BADASS 💪🏼🔥💜🔥🤘🏼 Glad you're okay
Well Daniel I work under the assumption that all the tools in my shop that make noise are out to remove body parts from me! But the ones that get me the most are the quiet ones, razor knives, sharp chisels, and such. Cudos to your wife...I think she deserves a fancy night on the town and you should also build her a nice box for her medical supplies! Glad you're ok!!
Possibly more than that. In 2022 I cut my finger pretty deep and needed stitches (only like 5 or 6) and was in the ER for less than 1.5 hrs. Bill was $1,400.
How ironic. With all the saws, planes, chisels, routers, splinters, etc., etc in the shop, you slice yourself on a marking wheel. God bless and take care of the arm. The LW (little woman) is a rock star.
Glad to see you are a tough-ass Bearded Viking. It is surprising to see how lucky it is to have medical help available in the home. Your wife is a keeper in every way… she deals with snakes, patches you up and still sticks around. Glad you live through this and I love that you will be able to remove your own staples when the time comes/
That certainly was an eye opener of an accident. Glad you're going to be OK thanks to the skilled hands of Mrs Viking. Now to pull down some of those boxes and repurpose them into ways that make your shop safer yet! Best wishes Daniel.
Oh bless Mrs biking she knows how to fix animals. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👩🎓👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 We always keep a pretty big first aid kit in my house, my wife is always fixing me. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Couple months ago I found out the hard way that your thumb and the blade of a cordless plane shouldn’t be in the same place at the same time…who knew? Most of what I lost actually grew back, minus the nerves,, glad you’re okay and back at it. Stay Safe!
I know exactly how that feels. I usually have a bad freak accident once a year. I shouldn't be around any tools, but I love them, lol. I almost lost half of my finger last year on a tablesaw, but they were able to re-attach it. I hope you heal soon. Good luck!
oh wow! I hope you are doing better now. Ms. Viking to the rescue, you are lucky to have your wife at home when this happened. Stays safe and keep the sharp stuff in a drawer or a box to prevent future accidents.
Wow. Marking wheel accident. New one on me but I certainly saw why and how it happened. Mrs. Viking was a cool as the other side of the pillow patching you up. Hope you have a speedy recovery and make sure to not have sharp objects facing up.
Dang man! That happened in a flash! Good to see mrs Viking took good care of you. You're definitely in good hands. Thanks for sharing this video and showing stuff doesn't always go to plan. Maybe keep exposed edges (capable of cutting anything) not in spaces where you can accidentally run into them? Captain hindsight over here, i know, but thought i'd point it out anyway. Take care, brother!
Goodness, that is a whale of a way to get some content! Glad you are on the mend. Great share as we think of the big blades being dangerous but those small tools can sure cause some damage.
Hope you get to feeling better soon. I just had a jigsaw cut my finger a couple of days ago and probably needed stitches but just cleaned it and wrapped it up tight to stop the bleeding. It’s doing good but, I definitely won’t forget my dumb mistake any time soon.
Ouchies!😖 Where's the superglue when you need it. I'm accident prone myself. Gotta treat your blades like your firearms and keep them in safest possible position. Probably should add a first aid kit and tourniquet to the shop. I thought about doing this for my shop.
I just posted be careful at the bandsaw, you found away, lol not lol, I’m sorry for your pain Dan. You gotta trooper brother. You both are funny 🤣 My wife freaks when the saws start running.
Dang it man! About 25 years ago I was using my table saw and the arbor broke off. The blade came up on the table and spun through my hand. It cut through one bone. Took 3 surgeries to fix it.
I mean... the joys of having a vet in the house, superficial trauma to a people and to a dog is pretty much the same... just need to shave humans a little less, haha
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks yeah. Shows how sharp it was. Better than a dull ragged cut though. Hope you are current on your tetanus shots. If not, CVS/Walgreens can do them cheaper than a doc. With the wood dust and animals ya got, tetanus is a concern.
Glad you're ok and Mrs viking took good care of you. I let my fiance watch this and I promised her I won't be that much of a baby when it happens to me..... I probably will though but just wanted to reassure her. Seriously though I'm glad you're ok and it wasn't a chisel or plane iron
Ooh ouch! That will leave a mark! Lol..sorry.. just saying.. I did something similar in 5th grade with a freshly sharpend pencil..still have the graphite in my arm.
That looks painful as FK 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 …. Daniel my brother….. you best do tool relocates 😂😂😂😂😂 …. Bro if I told you what I did to my hand by using a tool without the shield on 😂😂😂😂😂😂 yea I did that myself no accident …. Wood working is dangerous 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I unscrewed a screw that went all the way into my hand once. No deadening. I thought my wife was gonna pass out. She's a transplanted Yankee though.
A castration kit he's not an animal 😮😮 sorry dude i was on the floor when she said that. Hope your good bro. Its like addadaba ooch. Reminds me back when i was chef slit my arm open near enough from wrist ti elbow wjth a 3ft filet knife but thats story for another day. Wife's are great Doctors not so much they won't laugh and take the piss (or that just mine. After she bandaged me up though)🏴👍
I think your wife enjoyed torturing you 😂💉🤷🏻♂️ trying to make ya laugh brother. Stuff happens in the blink of an eye. I bet you move the marking gauge 🤷🏻♂️😂 that’s exactly what happened to me a few years ago and now it stays in the drawer with my marking knife. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully it helps others to be safe in the shop.
Big ole viking, moaning and groaning, you ought to be ashamed of yourself, ;) LOL Just kidding. Your accident was a big surprise to me. I expected you would have been handling the tool when it happened. I had no expectation that it was just out in the open like that when you walked by. You really just opened a new chapeter in shop safety. It's one not often shared in safety videos. The shop needs to be clean and the tools need a safe place to be stored. I'm sorry you cut your arm, but I am glad it turned out well. (Give your wife a hug for me for caring for you and being there). I don't have a marker like that so I didn't ever think of them being razor blades, but, I can understand why they are. Maybe a shop safety tip in some of your videos would be something to think about. You're still great, and I'm looking forward to more of your builds. Thank you for serving. Your candidate has my vote....
Lmao 😂 hilarious ! I’ll hug the wife for ya and I’m actually going to be going in depth on a safety video for this exact reason. You’re 100% correct about clean shop and storage for tools , it was an arm opener of an experience but also an eye opener lol
