Instead of a wide screen tv, you have a gorgeous wide-screen window for watching dramas and comedies and garden shows. Love your kitchen floor. I'm so glad you are tooting your own horn. Your artwork is breathtaking.
l'm a quiet crafter, jacobean embroidery, memory journals and painting. On weekends l take my computer to my bedroom /studio, and listen to your videos. My small 1 bedrm apt is my sanctuary, where l can enjoy my old treasures. I too had to downsize from a house so l chose things carefully. Your home is a joy......thank you
Definitely the best collection of turn of the century utensils & equipment that I have ever seen. To see them loved so well & used in those beautiful surroundings was a magical sight to behold. You are such a unique lady in so many ways, Jeri. May your world always be bountiful & the good earth appreciate you every day. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🙂💛💛💛
I really do like your art, very my style. I also love your rooster in the background making a voice appearence, just adds to the ambiance of an old home.
Perfect timing, I needed this video to whisk me away from the stresses of life! I love you’re cheery kitchen. I also have a cheery kitchen. My grandmother had a yellow kitchen for the cheeriness of it, so that is why I always have a yellow kitchen.🐣💛🐥
I am in love with that window ..I could just stand in front of that kitchen window with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by. how beautiful the whole house is. I'm totally in love with it
Yay! I've been wanting to see your lovely kitchen ever since I got a glimpse in cooking videos! Thanks for the "up close and personal" view. Love your kitchen and also seeing your wonderful art work. Take care and God bless!
I loved stepping back in time in your kitchen. The coffee grinder and percolator had me drooling with hearts in my eyes. The butter churns❤❤❤. I love your art, you just inspire me. Thanks Jeri for your wonderful eye for details.
Your kitchen is so cheerful and inviting. We just bought paint for our kitchen cupboards and it's yellow too. I love the beautiful yet practical antique kitchen implements that you have. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Thank you also for sharing your art and all the work that goes into making a piece. Take care my friend - Marcie
This was a real treat this morning. I think I enjoy the kitchens of this era more than anything else. When I taught, my favorite field trip for my second graders was to a turn-of-the-century home built by Hiram Clay Kellogg for his family. This was not the cereal Kellogg, but the fertilizer Kellogg (he formulated that in a little room right off of the boudoir!) My students loved the kitchen gadgets and the "ghost" drawers. I also enjoyed all your grinders--my mom collected food grinders and passed them on to me. Fond memories of her grinding our baloney salad for sandwiches in the 50's/60's. She grew up in a PA Dutch tradition. So much to enjoy in this video! Glad you got it done today! Thank you, Jeri, for brightening my morning!!
The parsonage we live in was built in 1910 and as was the fashion at the time, attached to the church. The house is beautiful and thankfully most of the wood work hasn't been painted. I would love to see a picture of what the original kitchen looked like. I'm sure the chimney which is covered with plaster, was used with a wood or coal cook stove. I was able to get a copy of a photo of the outside of the house showing a horse and buggy. Thank you for sharing your kitchen. It's beautiful. Blessings
Thank you for sharing your home. I have never heard of the paper cutting technique. How incredibly detailed it is. I am a artist, so I know about details. My eyes aren't what they use to be which is very frustrating when I want to do something tedious. I love the things in your kitchen. I could spend a hour or two just admiring everything. As I get older I realize that I did not appreciate the things my grandparents and great grandparents did. I wish I would have paid more attention. I am new to your channel and look forward to going through your videos. Thanks for sharing 😊♥️
I have that exact sink ! In fact, I have a lot of the same things you do. I even have that coffee percolator. And the coffee grinder. I've always thought I should have been born in the 1880's. My house is 104 years old. Stove is an O'Keefe and Merritt from the 40's. General Electric fridge from the 50's. Anyway, thanks for the video. Love seeing these beautiful old things still alive and being used. You're place is amazing !
How enchanting your kitchen is love it so much, enjoyed every minute of it. And your art work is so amazing. Can you tell me about your wall paper, I really love it?
The kitchen wallpaper is just a green and white Gingham, the wallpaper that looks like stenciling inside the cupboards (and in the other room), is by Ralph Waites. put it up 20yrs ago.
Very smart to start promoting your art. For yourself and for us. Thankyou! Loved your kitchen! If I were a half decent housekeeper, I would consider something like it! 😅
I just subscribed to your channel. I absolutely adore your kitchen. My kitchen is yellow as well. I find it to be very happy and cheerful. Everything in your home is absolutely amazing. You are so talented. Thank you for such wonderful inspiration God bless.🙏💕💕👋🇨🇦
I am so glad you could finally upload the video. It is a gem, as always. Thank you for inviting me to your kitchen. The cheerful yellow put a smile on my face and cozyness in my heart. Also your voice is so inviting. I told you once, you make me feel like a little girl visiting her grandmother. I lost her when I was only 9. Thank you for this feeling.
I truly enjoyed your kitchen tour, you have two good eyes for finding such wonderful kitchen crocks, bowls, tools and the whole kit and kaboodle. You did such a good job on your floor. Your kitchen looks so pretty. Thank you for sharing.
My goodness Jeri I love your kitchen... and the sink...I love it. You are such an interesting lady, I could spend hours talking to you. Thank you for sharing.
This video just thrilled my soul! Thank you for sharing your beautiful kitchen with us. Your cooking videos in which you use your vintage kitchen tools are my favorite! I want to soak in all the rich history. And I love learning about the way people lived in the past!
Jeri, I SAW THE STOVE.....Why I did not see it before???? who knows. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL one I have even seen....and I have see many. What is the name of it? You are so fortunate to have such a stove. And everything you have.....unique. As I mentioned before....I have many like yours. BUT NOT THAT STOVE. You will NEVER see another like it....WOW. Thanks again for sharing. I go back and view it over and over. It is like walking into a place....I want to be.
Oi Jeri ! Adoro o estilo vintage da tua cozinha... belíssima ! Tenho alguns objetos que herdei da minha avó. Tua cozinha me fez lembrar a cozinha da minha avó. Muito linda !! Um verdadeiro recanto de aconchego! Parabéns e obrigada por partilhar conosco esse recanto de amor !!❤🧚♀️🌷🏡🐣🐓🦆🦚🐦🍨☕🍷🧉❤🌷🍒🐞💋💋💋💋❤
Lovely display of antique treasures, thank you for sharing your precious collections and your whimsical artistry, you're a wonderful gift to all of us who appreciate the days of yesteryear.
I love this soo much Thankyou I painted my kitchen just recently a squash, yellow color. I love it it’s warm and it’s cheery, but I’ve been doubting it because of other peoples opinions because love turn of the century kitchens. This made me feel better and not doubt my taste so much.
I am a new subscriber but a long time fan of your art work. I have prints, books and cards. Your kitchen is beautiful and I am so glad to have found your RU-vid channel !
✨😃✨ What a beautiful very rustic kitchen with a vintage style. reminds me of my grandmother who is in heaven. She loved her cooking and the atmosphere is very relaxing contact with nature. Greetings to you from Chile. 🇨🇱✨😃✨
Whenever I watch one of your videos, its like I been transported in a land where everything is lovely, kind and delicious. I love your charming kitchen thanks for sharing.
I enjoy your videos so much. And I appreciate how you know so much about what you own. I may have seen a few of these antiques in a shop, but I wouldn't have known what they were or what they were for. Thank you for preserving some history!
I love your kitchen and it is so great to see you use the tools in your cooking videos, they're not just museum pieces (not that there is anything wrong with that). Sometimes the only purpose a beautiful old thing needs to serve is to inspire, but it's great to see them in use in modern times. Thanks for sharing! Your artwork is lovely.
☀️I love this Kitchen tour video. & Watch it many times 🙂 Your art is wonderful. It would be so nice to put one of your paper cuts in my kitchen above the shelf holding my great grandfather's salt box.💕 Thank you for sharing all you do.
Just beautiful, homey, warm, full of things that bring back happy memories! My mom and I used similar items while cooking together in the kitchen. Great work!
Your kitchen is simply wonderful. I'm afraid I would be like be like your husband and use the new stuff. I do like using an old fashioned potato masher as an example. I had fallen in love with your art but when you showed your transfer ware it took my breath away. I too have red transfer ware but not all in one pattern. As long as the design pleases me, and at the right low price, it comes home with me. Now I am off to watch some more of your wonderful videos.
I absolutely luv it I luv old hones light cabins colonial home with a fireplace in every room old homes have gusto, character, and sometimes even the souls (ghosts)of the original owner
I so look forward to all of your videos. Such a tranquil and peaceful life you have. I envy you lots and I am in awe of all of your talents. Thank you for sharing and taking us away for awhile. You have been my inspiration to try new things and at my age (59) sometimes that's not easy. Thank you again Jeri!
I know what you mean about the stove. When they first came out, it was a dream of mine to one day be able to afford one for my kitchen. However, it was never meant to be! So glad someone has and enjoys theirs! It fits perfectly in your kitchen.
I recently discovered your site and am watching an episode each morning with my coffee. What an inspiration you are to get me moving outside! Thank you for motivating me.
I love your kitchen! Thank you so much for sharing! I really enjoyed seeing your paper cutting process. I'm also a watercolor artist! Your artwork is so beautiful!
Oh my word, I am so glad to have found your channel. What a beautiful, beautiful kitchen and all the kitchenalia too. Stunning. I am going to binge watch your other videos now. Thank you so much. Hugs from England.
Love your kitchen. I love your collection of bowls. My favorite one is the green one with a chip on the rim. Still useful and beautiful. My kitchen is also yellow. The color of butter. My counter tops, a cream with a dark green trim around it. My house was built in 1950 so it's not as old as yours, but I do decorate with and use older kitchen bowls, enamel ware and utensils all in green and yellow. Thanks for the lovely tour.
