It was my distinct pleasure to relieve you of the extra luggage for your trip home. The vise is sitting ON the bench it will be attached to as I figure out how and where to best mount it. Thanks, Andrew!
I was the outfeed catcher for many a day some years ago, and my outfeed catcher just entered the world a few days back. Love to see you incorporate your son into the work, it is doubtless something that he will look back on with immense fondness.
Not sure if this is the same vice Adam Savage has in his shop, but it sure looks like it. I've admired it for a long time now. Your vices are a pure work of art. Cheers.
It was great to see you around Maker Camp. I guess you will be either driving next year with a few vises or will be shipping them to the Blackthorne for pickup at Maker Camp? Be well -Nick
Watching the video and the front door just in case someone is dropping off a vice.. not because I’ve posted videos which may have inspired other folks, I’m just eternally optimistic.
Hey Andy, did you use the new video production techniques that we learned in class? I’m going to give it a try, can’t hurt if it cuts editing time. It was nice meeting you at Maker Camp, see you next year!
No disrespect Andrew, but I'm still waiting for my twin Turbo Wood parts. Why do I not have it by now? Again NO disrespect at all kind Sir. I know you are very busy. And thank you for all you have done for us. I love you products.
HI Pat, I have 3 24" jaw kits that still need to ship and I am sending those out this week. If you aren't one of those your order could have gotten lost, send me your order number and I'll sort it out.
I haven't ordered anything, so I'm not one to speak about the intricacies of Andrew's operation, but I do hear "backorder" and "catching up" in quite a few of his videos. This makes me worry about him falling victim to his own success. There is absolutely an advantage to having everything be made to order as opposed to making a ton of product and hoping to sell it. But many small companies could be better served by having a limit on the number of outstanding orders. E.g. "we can make 100 of these in a month, so we should never have more than 100 outstanding orders." This requires a certain amount of smarts in how a store is set up, and I haven't a real clue how to go about doing that in a smart way.
Do you have plans that you sell or giveaway that way we can go ahead and get the exact measurements or if you have templates that would be great if you do please contact me back or I’m not sure how you could do that through this but maybe you could put it in another video how to contact you thank you God bless and keep doing what you’re doing because it’s very inspiring sincerely Wayne Obryant Merced California
