A nice meal time at your friend’s house. This is a kind of delicacy we call ‘swallow’ in Igbo land. But we have four(4) types -all are derivatives from Cassava and Yam, including the particular type you people ate, even though this particular one is fast fading away from our menu list. Generally, swallow kind of food is our number one delicacy in our general food menu list. We usually eat it with more than eight(8) different kind of soups, including Okro soup such as the one you ate with. But we normally add red oil in our own Okro soup. Thank God for providing.
Eunice! Thank you so much for your videos. I love watching them. You are awesome and I would love to visit you and your village. God bless you and your family and friends always

Hi Eunice. I am from Rhode Island in the USA. Thank you for sharing your wonderful time with friends. It is so nice that you share the cooking. I really enjoyed watching. Sending hugs.
It's what I love to do at my friend's place, get involved n share the burden n cook n then later just talk everything under sun... Wow.... Ur this video just reminded me of my earlier days...... After Corona habbits n way of living life had changed so much...... It was nice to watch you all.... TC
Watching from US. We call the meal Apoth and Omena. Cooked just like that, with the brown Ugali. Thank you for sharing. Luo/Suba culture is identical to yours.
Hi Eunice, it's beautiful to watch you interact with your friends. Did you mention leafy okra 2:34? I didn't know there are different varieties of okra. I'm impressed with your friend's ability to walk with a bucket on top of her head. It's alleged that "Charm Schools" place books on the heads of their pupil to encourage good posture. Thanks again for sharing.
Woow the meal that my grandmother used to prepare for us and she always convinced us that if we eat this we will be strong in the body and live longer.
Hello beautiful people, I wish you can speak louder so I can hear you. I I love your working hard, it's building your muscles and keeps your body very healthy. You will never get sick. Thanks for showing me about natural lifestyle and I love it so much. Now you are making me hungry and I wish to dip my hand in your food that looks tasty uhmm, forgive me. Love you all from SA 😍❤️❤️
Hey Eunice! So this is interesting because in Western culture; to have a “guest” in one’s home is quite different. A “guest” here in the States is expected to sit, relax and be waited on. The “hostess” provides the entertainment and maybe some food while the guest is visiting. Now various cultures may have small variations to that “rule” but for the most part; it is the guest who is “served” while visiting as friends home. I enjoyed watching this one. TFS❤️
I enjoy your videos, very different lifestyle than we experience in 🇨🇦. I am guessing the girl in the blue top is the friend you went to visit. She appears to be your age, and almost as pretty. 🙏😇
Hay lnusu , my advice to your friend, l love cooking on fire wood so l made that type of stove for my mom but in order to save firewood , the stove has to be narrow inside so you need to just make it two in one but the second one has to be small and some inches up not on the same level l mean inside, it has not to be with a hole for fire wood but put it inside and in between , that will help you to make stew and boiling water for posho with the same firewood and time."little time, little firewood ".
