A very good video, Terry. Long days, getting yourself up and out with sufficient time to prepare for the workload for that day. Every day presumably. On top of that you have to manage the administration of the business : payroll, paying creditors, getting paid by clients, paying overheads. Being self employed is not easy. You've given a good insight here, Terry.

Good man Terry. You're a good solicitor and we need them now. Remember, it's a bastards game and an adversarial or in alot of times an internecine conflict. But good solicitors can fix that amoung civilization. So as Victor Kiam said, keep going for it.

Hi Terry, - I am fascinated by your dietary picks before you go to work. Seems healthy enough, I guess that's what you're trying to portray. But I have a different plan for you. Which I will send in my next message.

Thank heaven for typical days, and shame on husbands who leave their families in the lurch.

Terry, - I noticed in one of your recent videos that you walked fifty yards and then sat down on a bench to get your wind back. I thought, what's going on here? Do you need to work on yourself, to protect your health, never mind the great work you are doing for other people? Okay, here's the deal. You may need to lose a few stone, I'd suggest two or three, to get you to a stage where you can live into your nineties or hundreds. So here's what to do: Stop eating sugar, dairy products and bread. If you do this, you will start losing weight right away. But if you need a more prescriptive list of food items to give up, then here are my suggestions (subscribers might find this useful also): Give up sugar in all forms. That means sugar itself and fizzy drinks that are mostly sugar. It also means giving up confectionary: all sweets are mostly sugar. Don't buy any, they are not good for you. All biscuits and cakes are mostly sugar too. Ditto ice cream. Yes, a hard one to give up, ice cream, but you gotta. None of these sugary items are any good for you. Yes, you need a modicum of sugar in your diet, but you don't need it from any of the above sources; they don't give you any vitamins or minerals. You will get enough sugar from natural foods, like fruit. Cut out all fried foods from your diet. I can see from your video that you are no longer having a full Irish breakfast each morning. So, you are already on the right track. For breakfast, I would suggest oatmeal plus a selection of fresh fruits and yoghurt. For your main meal of the day, whenever you have it, I would recommend that you restrict yourself to fresh fruit and veg and to poultry, fish, nuts and pulses. Red meat is not good for you, or for the planet, in case you're wondering why I didn't mention it. I think you also need to take up an exercise regime to remain healthy. No amount of dietary restrictions will save you from an early death unless you exercise regularly. Maybe you exercise already, but even if you do, then the following advice would be useful to your subscribers: You need to exercise hard three or four times a week. What does that mean? Well, you need to do a good half hour in the gym, on a treadmill or equivalent, working out for at least half an hour, at least three times a week. This regular cardio-vascular exercise is vital to preserve heart and lung function. You have to do this in the gym or through jogging outdoors, or hill climbing, or whatever. A lot of gym-goers don't seem to understand the importance of cardio-vascular exercise and they faff about, doing nothing very useful. Terry, if you can find a gym near you, make sure you put in a half-hour of cardio-vascular exercise on every visit. That will be the most useful 30 mins you spend in a visit to the gym. Secondly, as we age, we lose muscle mass. I'm not saying you are losing muscle mass, Terry, but I'm guessing you are or soon will be, because it happens to all of us as we age. So, to hang on to your muscles and not see them atrophy, you need to work them, work them hard in the gym. What does that mean? Well, it's different from cardio-vascular exercise. It's really something you can do sitting down, or on a bench, or on a resistance machine in the gym. So, you push some weights, up or down or whatever, but there's more to it than that. There is no point in pushing weights that you are well able to push. You need to find your limit and push that weight. And then, once you're used to pushing that weight you need to raise that level a notch or two and push a higher weight. And push it more times if you can, when you sit down on the bench to push it. Only by continually pushing your limits will you maintain your muscle mass as you grow older. I do this all the time. My muscles aren't getting any bigger, but I am keeping in some sort of shape, certainly for a man of my age. I hope you find the above of use, Terry, as you continue to fight for justice and help people sort out their legal problems. But above all, think of yourself and your health. You can only help people if you are in good health yourself.

I should add, further to my latest post, that, to lose weight, you also have to cut out fatty foods. Most processed foods are full of fat, so you need to avoid crisps or anything in the 'crisps' category. So, takeaways are a 'no no,' just forget them altogether. But you can have an occasional treat, as my GP put it, which probably means you can have a fatty take-away once a month, or something like that. I think, if you've been living by the standards I set in my last posting, you would be perfectly justified in pigging out, once in a while!
