Mas você tem que atentar que muitos caboclos foram catequisados e muitos negros também e quando o espírito se manifesta se for catequisado irá enxergar a imagem como santo católico senão, como orixá.

Acho lindo usar as imagens católicas Cresci em centro de umbanda raiz bem antigo e tinha mistura de santo católico e orixás Tem entidades de preto velhos caboclos Exus que misturam cantam pra São Miguel, Jesus, Maria, São José Se as próprias entidades consideram os santos católicos então não se pode fazer nada quando se usam imagens católicas
