I grew up in Florida and went with the fam a few times when I was little. My mom and dad would load us 5 kids into the wood paneled station wagon with our dog and off we went. I took my own kids twice as they were growing up. So here I am 50 years old now, 2 grandbaies later and haven’t been to Disney in over 12 years. I’m headed back after all these years in a month and I swear you guys have brought back all the magic for me. I just can’t get enough of you so thank you. ❤️
ElizaShakiraMassani I can only imagine! Can you believe back in the day our parents would just let us loose?! I couldn’t have been more than 8 years old and myself and all my siblings would just take off running when we got in the park. No laid out plans, no set idea of which ride we ride first...nothing! Lol! I’m sort of envious of just how little planning my folks had to do compared to now. I’m like..”Fast Pass? What’s that?” Hahahah. So yes...I’ve been relearning, re-educating myself about how to prepare and it does take the fun out a little. That’s why I was so happy Tim and Jen brought back the magic for me:)). By being better prepared I know that it will be a better experience for everyone...including me!
Dorothy Burgess honestly now a days it’s better to be at least slightly prepared then not prepared at all because waiting is a lot more of a thing then it was back then. I need to take a trip to animal kingdom’s Pandora so I can enjoy flight of passage.
Dorothy, i know this was a year ago, but i really do hope you had a wonderful time! Tim and Jen created the disney magic for me! I would have never known how amazing it would be without them.
WOW everything! Gorgeous costumes in that parade! Love!💗 A little but huge story.. At Disneyland before there was a Tokyo Disney there used to be large groups of Japanese traveling together and our 2 yr old got away from the stroller when we turned our backs for literally seconds and disappeared into the crowd.. if it had not been for a group of very lovely Japanese people who grabbed his hand, stopped and started waving their hands in the air and making noise.. Omg I don't know what.. we are forever grateful! 💗💗💗
I was watching a lot of people in the background especially during the parade and its amazing to see hardly anyone using their phone. they are just enjoying the parade!
The Disneyland hotel there looks incredible! They definitely have unique merchandise! The Trader Sam key chain is cool...yet pricey! Cool robot dancers! Love how all the bread is themed! Awesome parade! Thanks for waiting 2 hours for us!
Elizabeth Romano It's common all over Japan because space is limited, it makes more sense to have vending machines than actual stores. Its fast, convenient, and takes up little room. You can find a vending machine for almost anything.
You guys are living for us people who are not as fortunate to exiprience these parks as you are. You guys have given me the opportunity to share the magic and wonder of disneyland with my family (who has never been to disney), and i am thankful for that. I religiously watch your videos, and i wish to one day share the magic of disney with my family. Thank you guys.
So glad this video was posted my anxiety was getting the best of me today and this made me calm down thank you guys for making such great video❤️ I hope to meet u guys one day and give u both a hug!
Adriana Moncivaiz When my anxiety get the best of me I close my eyes and give thanks for my body starting from head to my toes. ("I'm thankful for my hair. I've not combed it yet but I like that its there ... I'm thankful for my eyes, they help me see beautiful things like Tim and Jenns videos, etc.) By the time I get to my arms, my anxiety is better.
How did I just book flights to Tokyo after watching these blogs? Tokyo Disney owes the Trackers for some great publicity. I can’t freaking wait! Honestly, this has been on my bucket list for a while and after seeing them do it I thought maybe I can do it too! I was nervous about getting there and also the language barrier, but these videos showed me that it should be fun to figure out and not as hard as I thought. It’s also not nearly as expensive as I thought it could be. Hello Tokyo spring 2019! ❤️
Jenn! I absolutely love the monster's inc. outfit!!! My husband and I named our son Sullivan after Sulley on monsters inc! I'm always on the lookout for Sulley themed merch from Disney!
I definitely prefer the fairy godmother as a face character! She’s a little scary in the Tokyo parade! But I love how many characters they have doing meet and greets ☺️
We're going to Disney World in 17 days and I told my kids early March. My 12 yr old has had a Tim tracker video on the TV every single morning for the past 60 days. He really really wants to run into Tim at the park.
Joey Tastic I also wonder if they saw any shows. If they didn’t, they missed some of the best shows presented in any Disney park on Earth. But you have to understand that American guests usually are more into rides and such, skipping the live entertainment attractions. Also at Tokyo Disney, most shows require a lotto ticket to access and if you don’t win the lotto, you will be required to stand by for the worst seats. So maybe this was a deterrence for them to skip?
So much merch! My son has those Sully sunglasses 🕶 too. So cute! Nearly every store in Japan tapes their bags shut that way. They are very conscious of customer service and often take the time to wrap things properly and in a very beautiful way. Just a nice touch.
Holidays are hard!! we come to Florida every year for 2 weeks. We manage at least 2 parks a day, by the end of the holiday, we sleep for HOURS!!! love the vlogs :) xx
Peter pan and Wendy flying WOW!!!!! That was pretty cool. I have really enjoyed these Tokyo Disneyland vloGs all of these vloGs have something different and exciting happening. I really like there Merch and Jenn's Monster ink and Marie gear awesome!
Tim says “oh I’ve never seen them as kids before!” when those are the literal pictures from the beginning of the movie... lol love your videos and your knowledge of the parks, but do you actually watch Disney movies Tim? Haha
It has been so cool seeing your adventure over there. Most of us will never get to go so it’s pretty neat. The next time you do a live stream it would be cool if you spoke in generalities how much it cost to go there. Like ballpark of tickets, hotel and plane tickets. In my mind it seems like this would be a very expensive trip but I’m sure if you hit it just right you can find deals
Holy macaroni! The characters and cast members appear more active or animated than in either USA park. The costumes for the parade are great. It is amazing that they can hire enough talented cast members to provide full customer service.
Whenever my family goes to Disney we alwase wake up at 7 and eat breakfast and get to the park by 8:30 and we stay pretty late until like 9 or 10. Ya we cram in whatever we can during the day and we have done all the rides in the parks in one day.
Loveelephant16 Gymnast we get up at 6:00 and get in the park by 7:00. We take breakfast on the go, usually a banana or something like that. We stay until closing time, usually 10:00 or 11:00.
They put the tape so things dont fall out as easily I think. They did that at several stores all over Japan that I went to, especially if I bout a bunch of little things. They also give the little baggies since it's common for people on a trip to bring home omiyage which are little presents for either their friends or families who couldn't make it. That's why they sell soo many gift boxes with cookies and snacks. BTW I bought the ramen and tried it it was soo good lol The little circle things are like fishcakes. Also they use a real casing which is why the hotdog seems...crunchy
I know this video was released almost a year ago, but I didn't see an explanation of the bag tapes from a cursory scroll through the comments. You were right about the tapes being anti-theft - Except its not to protect you and the contents of the bag, its to prevent you from adding to bags after you've paid for something. This way, when you exit the store and they see a broken seal, they'll know you've reopened the bag and could have potentially added unpaid goods from the store. Jen is right about the "visual receipt" around your lanyard. It tells other store employees the loose item is paid for.
this was an awesome vlog and I don't say that often. the reason, the filming quality, covering gifts offered, rides, the parade was excellent coverage and I was immensely impressed by Japanese care for cleanliness within the park and care to recycle as we should be doing here. I was impressed by the behavior of the crowds at the parade...unlike our hometown parades, no shoving pushing, smoking, standing in front of early arrivals, trading rude for polite behavior. Wow, you two do a great job, a credit to vloggers everywhere.... You are a cute couple and I give you an A plus for excellence down the line. Take a lesson you fellow vloggers....this is how it's done.
Jen looks really cool with the glasses and the monster thing on her head All these videos were so great I really enjoyed it and you guys had a lot of fun I don’t know how you guys did it from morning till night daily
I LOVE THESE VLOGS!!!, now Disney tokyo is on my bucket list. Also I LOVE how there the actors actually look SO much like the characters, specially princesses, I feel in orlando a lot of the times they look off and not like.
I think Tim and Jen learned a valuable lesson here ... you NEVER oversleep and NEVER arrive at Tokyo Disneyland after gate has opened or the crowds will eat away the fast passes and you will be left out to wait long times for rides. This is not the Magic Kingdom where you can reserve fast passes ahead of time kids. Plan accordingly. Also... -NO, Wdw does not sell character tooth brushes. -Sweet pastries in japan are not that sweet. Reason why some of the stuff Tim and Jen tried didn’t taste sweet. -they didn’t mention that trash cans have tiny LED headlights for night time use. -merchandise at Tokyo Disneyland is quite unique and can’t be found at other Disney parks. And the selection is (as Tim says) intense. -parades and live shows are Tokyo Disneyland forté. Best of any Disney parks. -Tape on the shopping bags. This is common all over japan. Not just TDR. And the extra bags are given out in case you need to give the items as gifts to family and friend. The reactions from Tim and Jen are typical of western guests. Especially from those who call WDW their home town park. There’s is quite an uniqueness about how Tokyo Disney parks are run and operated. Everything is done efficiently and smartly. The other Disney parks can’t match that level of greatness.
I hope you guys will do a trip recap/vacation planning video! I would love to hear how you prepared for this. Also your trip impressions, things you learned, tips and tricks, etc!
11:00 Very cool to see what they name their trains over there, in this case MISSISSIPPI. A part of me was hoping they'd have one named Hayao Miyazaki instead.
I wish I could go to Tokyo Disney Land but I can't because it,s to expensive and because I have a lot of health problems but thanks to you Tim and Jane I got to see Tokyo Disney Land and experience of what it,s like there it made me feel like I'm actually there so thank you for the Tokyo Disney vlogs Tim and Jane
After seeing the Tokyo Disneyland vids I, an almost adult, created a PowerPoint encouraging my dad to consider Tokyo Disneyland for my senior trip next year. Let’s hope he actually takes it seriously and considers it lol
I believe that Mike W bread is a melonpan! :) Very popular with kids and teens. And they tape the bags shut in Japan so the store staff knows you've payed for your stuff and not shoplifted, in some stores they use broader tape so you for sure can't slip stuff into the bag. That's what I've been told when asking in Japan, might be more to it! Love ur vlogs
Hello! I am Japanese and live near Tokyo Disney Resort. This video is from four years ago, but I watched it because I was wondering what Tokyo Disney Resort looked like to foreigners. It's great just to enjoy Disney in Japan! Currently, all tickets are exchanged online, so there are many changes and complications, but a new attraction will be opened and a new area will be opened in DisneySea next year, so please visit again!!
