Hi pam! Loved ur tour inside and out!! Sooooo pretty I could sit and look at the flowers outside there all day! Oh my goodness the butterflies! I would love to attempt that again....back in the day my friend lived by this road and it was like they would all be crossing so we would get some and she would raise them till they came out their cocoon and set them free....thank u so much for sharing I enjoyed! Have an amazing week💙💙💙
It all looks great to me. Thought about doing a small section of indigenous flowers in my yard just to see how I like it. Thanks for the bent onion leaf tip.
Absolutely love how you have your indoor spaces decorated. Thanks for showing us some of your houseplants... I always like getting a peek. I have a Bachelor Button that came up from last year & for a week have been trying to find the term for it & then you said ..volunteer.... thank you, thank you......now I can get that out of my head. Battling japanese beetles here.... out of 17 sunflowers, I have 5 left...oh,well. Happy Gardening !
So many beautiful blooms! Definitely giving me inspiration for next year of what else to try! Can’t wait to see how things are starting to grow for the rest of the summer!
Newish viewer here, I just wanted to thank you for being awesome. I know the state of everything is pretty 💩 right now and struggle is real but I appreciate your videos and the calmness that comes with them. I hope you are having the most wonderful day ❤️
Wishing you many serene & satisfying moments in the garden. You work so hard at it & deserve all the fruits of your labors. Please consider all of us out here that you have inspired to be in that category. You will not see all the ripples you have set into motion, but we are out here, making our own ripples
I'm still planting my wintersowing jugs. At this point its clump of seedlings and may the strongest survive. I've only had 1 monarch butterfly and that was 7/12. Not laying eggs, just feeding on the milkweed flowers and I had to get to work so I couldn't stalk her to collect the eggs. If I dont bring them in when they are laid, they are gone by the next day. I think it's the ants. The trick to catching them enclosing is watching their antennae. They go totally limp right before they enclose. Would love to see what you do with your self heal. I have a few clumps that are blooming now and haven't looked into how to use it yet! Oh, and I literally laughed out loud at your singular carrot and corn! The struggle is real!
I’ve had many sad jug clumps live to fight on!! I don’t think I’ve ever transplanted those in a timely fashion so I bet you’ll be fine! The ants and aphids are all over my milkweed too. It did result in a bunch of lady bugs being born on them this year tho!
Your garden is full of life, Pam! Lovely! It's me, Colleen, your gardening neighbor south of Boston. I can soooo relate to the beginning of your vlog. Some days in the garden, I just need to breathe and do simple stuff and leave my to-do list for another day. I'm also growing self-heal...but I don't actually know what to do with it. What do you do with it? And did you buy your elderberry bush locally? How's your garden doing in our heat these days? I got a bale of straw at Tractor Supply to mulch with and my veggies are doing okay...but I'm not expecting much from them as they are now just in survival mode. :( Can you tell I'm excited to see a gardening RU-vidr in the same region that I am? LOL It's just so helpful to be able to observe.
