I'm kind of confused about the first dress.. it doesn't look like the picture to me. They don't seem to have an account on etsy anymore but from their website it looks more like the 'Queen Daisy Lime Transparent Ruffled Maxi Dress' which is significantly cheaper than the one you bought. Can you look into it more?

Mia you definitely got scammed with that first dress. Even if the seller was legit, they must have realized the dress didn’t look as good as advertised and changed the listing/price. She models the dress you bought, but you can’t find it anywhere on her website. And the item that resembles what you bought is cheaper than the other products of the same style.

Yeah the fabric was similar but it DEFINITELY was not th same it was cheaper and it had way less fabric than the one in the picture. She kinda got ripped off. My sister studied Fashion design and she was upset and said that's not a hard dress to make being a wrap dress

And it BARELY looks like the one in the picture. The fabric was DEFINITELY not the same nor the same amount as the ad picture. I would have been upset if I got that vs the pic but of course Mia is SUPER positive about it so I'm glad she liked it but she got kinda ripped off

She said that the one in the pic is a wrap dress that should have a loop in one of the seams to pass the ribbon through and get the side split leg effect. It was built like a flimsy bathrobe with less ruffles

Latex is really something special - it's a material that has almost a life of its own. I started making latex clothing some time ago and I must say, when you closely get to know it (it's actually a 100% natural rubber), you really get a feeling of its wide possibilities of use. But you really have to 'feel' it. It's maybe not for everyone, but one can get used to it. And no, don't believe it's only for s*xual / fetish/ erotic etc stuff - far from it. I'm happy to see a youtuber as you to present a piece of it, and I hope we'll see more in the future! (PS:The 'fake' latex materials are probably everything from lycra, PVC, EVA, PU and other synthetic materials. Latex is unique, and it's purely natural material).

Any helpful tips in case: To get in, you can either use talc/baby powder or water based lube. ONLY use water based lube, which will also help shine if you don't choose something like Vivishine. For cleaning you can just wash in the tub in lukewarm/warm water and use a very soft towel to help dry to prevent water spots. They do make solutions to help clean latex as well if you choose to invest. For storage you can add the talc/baby powder to help it from sticking together and place it wrapped in white tissue paper in a plastic bag. Any other tissue color could stain the latex. Oil based products can ruin your latex. Some great latex companies: Vex Jane Doe Miss O Kissed (even modeled for her and she is an absolute DOLL, most beautiful person in and out) Libidex/Latex Express Hope this helps if you happen to see it 🥰

People are saying that the Etsy seller stole the brand and item photos and shipped a cheap knockoff. The Etsy shop has been taken down, more proof that it was a scammer, not your designer friend on Instagram.
