Hey! It looks like damage that has callused over. Just in case you can use rubbing alcohol on a paint brush or something and if it is scale it’ll melt right off. But I ain’t no expert lol😊

I think the cacti are okay. Not scale I don't think, but just old scars. My cacti had them, and it never spread to any other plants.

The markings on the cactus is just scar tissue. Some of my own cactii have those marks near the base where something damaged them before they got to me. I am not a cactii expert but it's what I've observed. The markings don't change as it matures - though cactii can get burned and develop them wherever they take damage.

Hmm… I’m not sure it is scale… if you look at the pictures posted on costas website they clearly have those markings as well and I doubt they’d post a picture of a plant with scale to sell it. But who knows with them 😵‍💫

Apply diluted dish wash solution to scale type dry dots and after15 minutes wipe it off with tissue if it is scales it will come out easily

You looked so sad after your cactus haul. Were you able to get in touch with Costa Farms and what did they say. I don’t think The last cactus was a unicorn horn. I have one and it looks like the photo on the box.

What did you do to get rid of the mealy bugs on your pothos. I gave up the fight and threw mine away. I recently spotted some on my jade plants. Which I placed in my greenhouse for sick and dying plants. I think I have about 80 plants I haven’t counted in awhile, and I’d hate to have to battle mealy bugs on them all. Thanks

I love how humans have this strange love for boobs. I do and I am a straight female. They are fun. I actually think it's an archaic behavior we have left over from the caveman days. Boobs = food.... Which means boobs are important in any size. 💚

Those ALL look AMAZING!!! I hope they push those cacti out to all markets!!! I have some on a Golden Barrel & was told it was damage that calloused over. I’d contact them just to be sure. Better to know first hand!!! 😎😎😎😎🪴🪴🪴🪴

Hi ! I don't think that's scale on your boobies! I have a giant one I've had for years and it also has that tan stuff around the base of it. I think that's how cactus callus over is all 🫶🏼
