Never know what’s around corner when it comes to health! Poor guy! Good points you raised over that. So lucky you have guys who know what they are doing that’s half battle while farming,so you get on quickly with work!
75% been cutting and welding aĺl day .23 / 24c in saskatchewan still no combines going in our area they are going down south. 6 hours drive to there @ 110km,going hard in north dakota. Keep smiling oli and crew.
Taking note, love the videos, love keeping up to date and your vlogs help me cope. Only 20-30% today, tough times at present with family and farming pressures. Keep up the good work.
Condolences to his family I’ve been wanting one of those hoodies badly. Just got my tax return in, so ordered it. Say ship Sept 1st. Perfect time for a new hoodie. Thanks Olly and crew.
Great vid Olly, still think a black 620 fendt would be a handy Swiss Army knife to go with the 728’s 40% today. Having one of those ‘why do we bother’ kind of days, which is turning out to be a week….
Had light drizzle to rain from 10-30am in SW Hampshire and all day, along with being strong southerly wind. Was hoping to go haymaking tomorrow, but the ground will be too wet. Weather today felt more like October rather than August today.
Feeling about 90% today/ Great cycle round the Linc's wolds this morning but drizzle and rain this afternoon that stopped outside activities. Still feel incredibly fortunate though.
You need to be in east Suffolk, lovely warm and sunny day until late afternoon when cloud came in and there was a short shower. Forecast is dry and sunny until Wednesday.
What a productive day! Sorry to hear about Alex. All I hope is that when I go I go quickly so others don’t suffer. 95% today but then I’ve only been up for 30 mins! Now watch something spoil it! Hope today is good for everyone farming.
90% TODAY. Beautiful sunny day 85 degrees Far. We are having a great summer the gardens are growing fantastic. Great video, was nice to see that you dodged the rain for the most part. Fayette Maine, USA
Sorry to hear that sad news. Surely a fundraising project to get an on farm health service. Perhaps you, Wardy, PX farms and other RU-vid farmers could get a campaign going? " Look after yourselves".
We have a McConnell pa7285 televfr and while it was vfr'ed I said hello to a tump and moved my 6215r of line and no damage was caused. So they are hellishly strong machines
Your appeal for a mobile nursing unit is very timely. We have one near us well supported in Lincs, Notts, Leics but they are always struggling for funds people treat their health with scant respect, the farming community is very macho but we are all human.
So sorry to hear about your friend. Olly that died what a shame he looked a nice man but you never know with bad hearts I nearly died this year if it wasn’t for are local Hospital which is Blackpool I wouldn’t be. Hear I was admitted three times in four months to Blackpool Victoria Hospital and one of those was Blue Lighted in at. 6 o’clock one morning fortunately they got me back so I owe Blackpool. Hospital my life You was very lucky with the weather today you dodged all the showers You’ve had a really productive day today Feeling 95% today and Olly what a super video
Good day. Fine day. Moving big rounds of hay. Stuffed an old 53ft semi trailer (artic trailer) into a corner for in season chem storage. No dolly, jack legs on steel plates on top of sleepers, pushed from behind with loader tractor - sketchy or what?? 90%
Life can be short (you just don't know) so you fit as much into every day, as you do Olly. Work-Life balance is so important: Alex was fortunate to have been at the Show and enjoyed his day out! Today I need to see things in perspective was 85%, coffee machine decided to quit so back to 75%. Pleased the team worked well to beat the weather :)
Great video as ever Olly, great feeling get one over on the weather. Very sad news hearing about Alex, you just never know what can happen from day to day. Feeling 90% today
hi olly, life is so presious, you never know whats around the corner. its been raining all day in south snowdonis today, only fit for topping pasture , keep up the good work.
The company I work for in New Zealand, Carrfields ltd who just happen to be the Horsch main dealer have a specially made trailer they take around to events and sales for health monitoring.
Here in Japan everyone in full time employment is required to get a full health checkup annualy at the cost of the employeer, it covers everything with more tests for older / at risk people, its a bit annoying but since it's required it actially works to catch lots of things that usually get missed, I think more places should have something like that
Olly I think your new Fendt's would look stunning with their grilles chromed...should help cooling 😎 and protection from build-up of bugs and muck, chrome is easy to clean. Give it a thought. %pretty darn low%
You need a bit of luck now and again Olly, well done getting the straw done. On hearing about Alex Reid, I feel fortunate to be here, therefore I am feeling 90%.
Weather forecasting can be reasonably accurate for no more than three days ahead, as the climate is such a complex system - and even then, locally can be different to a regional forecast. What follows is nothing more than a guess based on the average from previous years. With our changing climate, it might be wildly out anyway!!!
thats a good days work whrn you beat the odds well done, not feelin gthe best was made redundant out the blue due to office relocation and out sourcing...60% now
LOL the "Aviation update". Nothing better than a tight formation of *B1RD's" 😉. Sorry to hear about Alex, just goes to show that you never know what's around the next corner. When the Big Man decides it's your time then it's your time, I'll never understand why some are called before others but there is nothing we can do to change that. My condolences to his family for their loss, he will though live on in the memory of the people his presence touched through his life. 🙏❣
Good video…..baling almost looks like an against the clock sport, and then the loss of Alex puts everything into perspective. Can’t believe how much you fit into your day. 90% for me.
Great video Olly pleased that you have managed to get the bailing done..I love seeing the quad track working it seems to get through some work..people don't know the damage pigeons do to crops wish I was fit enough to get out at them..😎😎😎😎40%
40%-50% today, drab rainy day & last night in Kernow, can't move anywhere anyway, boardmaster festival traffic jamming up the roads all around me, you been lucky today, well done to you all
Actually slightly damp day here is Abu Dhabi yesterday. One thing I was wondering, I watch PX farming, farming on a massive scale. I was wondering seeing you hook up with the like of Wardy etc, if you ever come across the boys from PX?
We have those health check things come to our work, we get blood pressure, weight, heart rate etc carried out every year or so as a kind of mini MOT, it can be a bit of a wakeup call. They visit our work for a day and we have folk from other offices sign up and drop in maybe it would be worth a group of farmers / workers getting together in a similar way
