I still referred to my parent's house as 'home' 10 years after I moved out. Home is where the heart is, or where the heart of your family is. My daughters did the same. I'd love to see how you and Rick are going to make your new house a home - the full renovation project, even if it takes years.

Me and my partner are first time home owners and have pretty much every room to update or completely overhaul. The amount of random things we find while DIY'ing or issues we have come across that we never would have thought of is CRAZYYY. The previous owners patched a hole in the wall with newspaper :O Please don't be discouraged while you take on this massive task, its so so worth it. I also still interchange the word 'home' with my now own home and parents 'home' :')

I always store my bread in the freezer being a two and half person house hold , a whole loaf of bread won't get used before it goes off. Frozen bread tastes just as good after defrosting ☺️

I love a boxed baking mix. I struggle to make things from "scratch". I either don't have time or things don't turn out right. But if I have a box mix 98% of the time, they work out 😊

I had a really late lunch yesterday (chicken tikka masala, curried aloo and chickpeas, and rice) so for dinner dins I ate lots of chocolate, a piece of banana bread and some tea!

Best peanut butter cookies: 1 cuo peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 egg Mix Make into balls. Roll in sugar Place on pan. Press with fork. Cook 7 minutes in 350 degree oven (Fahrenheit)

I made steak 🥩 with chimichurri sauce, grilled Broccoli 🥦 and boiled potatoes with butter and parsley

I literally eat an entire glass jar of sauerkraut everyday too so here for the kimchi consumption - sure all helps the gut microbiome eyyyy? xxxxxx
