I hear that all the time. I think astrology is interesting, especially from a historical standpoint of how and why it came to exist! While I don't strictly believe in it, I think it's neat to look at the origins!
@@cozygamingmom I don't "believe" in it, particularly. I consider myself agnostic when it comes to all things spiritual. But my dad was an astrologer, and I happen to live somewhere where people are more likely to casually comment on your sign than to ask where you go to church.
@@msdaphne oh that's actually kind of neat that your dad was an astrologer! Around here, people really use their star signs as more a joke. You know "oh I'm such a ___" type things when they do something that isn't even that quirky 🤣. Our community is definitely more likely to ask what church you attend. I grew up in a city where people were more likely to ask a star sign or if you wanted a Tarot reading, though.
@cozygamingmom I grew up with a super hippie dad and a fundie mom (they weren't together) and lived for a looooong time in a city known for having a large concentration of Christian ministies. Living now somewhere that leans into the hippie side is kinda fun.
