honestly tired of ppl saying "he doesn't speak korean" etc, like obviously if he applied he can speak basic korean 😭 soul is generally a quieter person who doesn't speak much, and knowingly so if he's still improving his korean, though it does seem like he can understand quite a lot. and idols like felix, obviously weren't as fluent in korean when he was accepted into skz, but as time progressed he got better, and it's annoying people don't treat soul the same, honestly i have high hopes for him and really do hope he'll get more lines if they decide to make a japanese album instead of just korean in the future
and even then, if kpop stans who only know 3 korean words but can rap every one of their biases raps then im pretty sure if he was given lines he’d be able to learn them 😭
people say that soul prefers to dance over anything else, but the thing is he BARELY even dances on screen! he’s always behind someone, and if he is dancing on screen it’s for like 2 seconds and then someone else comes on. soul is my bias, my baby deserves more spotlight, it’s making him seem as if he isn’t in P1H. and im actually raging over it. #givesoulhismoment

i was so confused why they dont at least let him dance in the center more since he is very impressive and he shouldnt be completely excluded even if its a few lines he should have something, he is an idol for a reason.
exactly. i’m so surprised he’s barely ever in the front or center during choreos. of course he shouldn’t be in the front the entire time, but he’s ALWAYS in the back. some songs he gets like a 10 second dance break but that’s it.
He has for jump but funny how can they not give at least a decent liner for him. Most of the song he got the repetitive ones which not even a decent lyrics! His voice has an actual potential. I hope after Jump they give him justice. Like our baby has so much to grow.
I saw someone on tiktok say its bc he said he'd rather dance than sing bc he's not that good at korean but i have yet to see that video of him saying it or any type of proof ?? he deserves to still have more lines, i dont think his preference would be put into this decision anyway
yeah i’ve seen something like that too but i really doubt he meant he wouldn’t like to sing at all… also they debuted such a long time ago i really think his korean has already gotten better
@@gahyeonsglitter7610 it was said in a interview around their debut, but souls main goal is to dance and you can’t say they don’t give him the platform for that. P1h also writes a lot of their songs and I’m not them but they seem very supportive of soul so I doubt they just wouldn’t give him no lines. I also remember hearing that he’s now just a dancer and background vocalist and this could be true cause I remember in a interview he was just introduced as dancer.
@@orkvts2077 it’s hard to give him screen time when the other members have lines. Lines=screen time cause the camera pans to the singer and or rapper I would assume that’s why he’s given freestyles and featured a lot in choreography
as someone who biases soul with all their heart, i love his voice so much and fnc should stop with this tomfoolery, we shouldn’t have to be asking ourselves “how many lines is soul gonna get this time?” every cb 😕
you would think for a member who gets no lines they would at least be center or in the front during choreo BUT NO. soul is in the back for majority of the songs besides his occasional 10 second dance break. maybe it could be his preference and he’s shy but it saddens me. he’s an amazing dancer (and i’m actually really impressed with his singing) so it just sucks all of his talent is going to waste.

I’m pretty sure he isn’t shy about dancing, I think he really meant it when he said he’s the best dancer in the group. Also I think he really likes singing, too. He sang a lot in Vlive and once he suddenly started singing in idol radio, too.

People say he doesn't have many lines cause he's not confident. And y'know, fair. If he isn't confident enough yet that's fine. But I know for a fact he is an INCREDIBLE, competent, and confident dancer. Yet we still barely get any dance breaks from him DX At that point it's just poor distribution like- :'( gimme some soul.
Damnn .... all of his lines combined aren't even three minutes long... damn... kind of a crime how many lines (or the absolute lack of lines) he gets. I also understand that if someone doesn't speak Korean they might not receive many lines but in all seriousness most of those idols get a lot more lines than this.... It is honestly a shame and a crime that you can only hear him for 2 minutes and like 44 seconds or something out of the 27 seven songs they have so far... is that okay? Not really. Hopefully FNC gets their shit together and at least lets him do more adlibs and harmonies at least. I mean his voice is so beautiful, why not use this pretty voice?
Honestly don't know if this has to do with the company. I'm a new p1ece and I love Soul he made me stan P1Harmony and when I check out their music... I see my man has 1 line each song or 0 lines...
You would think FNC would take the hint by now based on all of the comments p1ece leave on music videos... I am glad soul gets to be a big part of dancing but the line distribution is just so imbalanced. I mean, if they aren't giving him lines because he's not that fluent in Korean yet, almost all of their songs have background vocals or humming or oo-ing. He gets some of that (like in my fav new comeback song Different song for me) but the fact that there are some songs where he has no lines at all?? It's just ridiculous.
But still, he might not be comfortable. They’ve only just gotten out of their rookie era and I think it’s ok as long as he’s happy (cause I’m this situation, his happiness is too priority)
Thank you for making this video! As the people here say,I hate that Soul is hidden behind the center member most of the time. Why do they do that to a main dancer? I’m so disappointed with BFF choreo, too. He has no decent line and no center time. Also His screentime of MV is always bare minimum and most of the time he doesn’t have a close-up shot. Whyyyyy? They suddenly treated soul like a proper member in Back Down and I really hope those bad treatment has changed, but because they didn’t give him proper lines in BFF I’m so worried about next come back. At this point I can’t trust anything 😢 *people kept saying soul didn’t care about singing or getting lines, but we knew that wasn’t true because he sang a solo Korean ballad at the concert. They really should give him more lines.

Same with English, a lot of idols can't speak a word of English but still sing English lines in songs, so... it's literally the same with Soul and Korean :/
Soul is one of the most known members of P1harmony, he's the reason i discovered them. You would think he'd have more lines. BUT we don't know what goes on in the creative process. Maybe he isn't confident and asks for fewer lines? It's not unheard of for idols who aren't in vocal positions to do that.
Soul didn’t get lines in Jump era and his screentime in MV was bare minimum AGAIN. He barely had lines in album songs, too. They even cutted Soul‘s small dance break and changed it to the rope jumping for music shows performances. I can’t stand these weird treatments anymore.
i know this is an old video, but in multiple recent videos from both the set in and all in comebacks, the members have talked about how THEY are the ones choosing the lines. not the company. yes it happens a lot in other groups where the company decides to give other members more lines than others, but that is not the case with p1harmony as they are major writers of their lyrics and have said multiple times that they are the ones choosing it. soul has also recently been very opening about how he is not confident in his voice, he had a solo in their recent tour that he openly spoke about being nervous for because he is not confident. again i know this video is old so you've probably seen these things by this point, or at least i'd hope so.
I still don't understand why they don't let him sing. One thing is that he is a really good singer, the other that it looks bad, it must be uncomfortable for all people participating to not let him sing...
it’s so strange to me that people excuse the extremely small amount of lines soul gets by saying it’s bc he “doesn’t speak korean well yet” like ??? there are many kpop groups that do all-english songs, all-japanese songs, etc. when none of the members speak those languages. they could do the same for korean in this case. you can learn lyrics phonetically!! and even if he couldn’t do that, why can’t they at least include a few japanese lyrics for soul to sing? if they can add english lyrics, they can certainly add japanese, and there are already many groups who do that.
A lot of lines is different from what I think most of us are asking for, which is more lines. More lines doesn't necessarily equal a lot of lines. I understand that he might not feel confident in his Korean language skills and wouldn't be comfortable in singing a lot. But the fact that we don't hear his voice at all in a couple of songs is honestly a shame. They could always give him some of the Engish lines. I'm not sure if English lines would be easier for him though. Basically we want to hear his voice more and harmonies, adlibs etcetera would be a really great place to let him shine as well. I truly think they can make use of his talents and beautiful voice a lot more than what FNC is currently doing. And that's even without making him uncomfortable due to the language barrier. And let's be honest his total amount of lines are almost not even a full-length song on its own.
