Get you some die finishing stones of various grits. Gesswein is a good brand. Will greatly reduce polishing time. Use with WD40 as you would sandpaper. I am not a knife maker, but I make beautiful knives. I grind by hand but I would like to know which jig you used. The design is offset and interesting. Thank you for your answer in advance. Very cool knife you made!

As a machinist, I'd much rather have the old scale in working order than to have it broken up for a knife handle. Then again, my old scales of this style are a bit fancier, being German silver and ivory.
