-Yes! It's a mini-musical/concept album that tells the story of A Christmas Carol through a series of songs performed by actors playing the characters.
How long is the show?
-Approximately 45 minutes.
Is the show captioned?
-Yes
Will A VHS Christmas Carol be released on RU-vid, DVD, or Digital Download?
-There are no plans to release this version of the show beyond Digital Tickets.
Will there be a studio album for A VHS Christmas Carol?
-Yes! It’s out now!
Will the album of A VHS Christmas Carol be released on Spotify/Apple Music?
-Like all StarKid albums, the album will be available for purchase at first through our store as well as iTunes, and then will go to Spotify and other streaming services after about a year.
What is a Digital Ticket?
-A Digital Ticket gives you access to watch the show on demand after the live performances.
How do Digital Tickets work?
-After you purchase a Digital Ticket, you have 30 days to begin streaming the show. Once you click play, you'll have 72 hours until your Digital Ticket expires.
How many times can I watch the Digital Ticket?
-You can watch as many times as you like during your 72 hours.
When/how long will Digital Tickets be available?
-Digital Tickets will be available for purchase starting December 14 through December 30, 2020.
What if I have an issue with the Digital Ticket?
-Please first check your spam folder for your receipt and link to watch the show (this is usually the main issue people have). You can also log into/create an account on Gumroad with the email used to purchase the digital ticket and you can access the video there as well. If you’re still having issues after trying both of these steps, please contact us.

This main song is so damn catchy.. That beat is sick and Dylans "Ba hum B U G !" was randomly stuck in my head during work lol. Can't wait to watch! Edit: Just finished, what a soundtrack!!! Killer melodies, cleverly written unexpected rhymes and rhythm patterns, and just the right balance of cooky and heart-felt. Starkid does it again!

First, check your spam folder for an email from Gumroad. Then if you don't see anything, try to sign into Gumroad with your purchase email to play it from your library. If that still doesn't work (or if you mistyped your email when you bought the ticket), contact us via our website and we'll get that straightened out for you!

This was honestly so good. The visuals were awesome but the album really does stand on its own (especially since there are no spoken words, so you get the entire story just by listening!). Thank you Team Starkid for this masterpiece.

A few days ago, one of my friends posted on Facebook "What is the best version of A Christmas Carol and why did you say the Muppet version?" and someone else responded "No, the new Starkid version" and I nearly had an aneurysm. A Christmas Carol is my favourite story ever, bar none, and Team Starkid has been a MASSIVE part of my life for the past decade or so, and yet I somehow had NO idea this was a thing until right then! I can't believe I almost missed this masterpiece! Just finished it, gonna see how many more times I can watch it before it expires. GIVE US THE DVD YOU WONDERFUL CHAOTIC BASTARDS

StarKid albums are released initially for purchase on stores like iTunes and our merch store. Usually after about a year they become available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify, or other subscription streaming services (that don’t pay artists very much).

Did anyone struggle with the audio? Fire Bringer was so crisp and clear on RU-vid, but this mix and overall audio was too poor for me to stick with. I bought the ticket, turned it off halfway through and listened on spotify, and loved it. Just bummed about the online version
