@@microwave8931 He hasn't done anything objectively harmful to him yet, sure, it's morally disgusting but if he loves Louie as much as he does (and I hope so) he actually treats him well and learned from this bullshit. I make my terrier angry all the time but he, once escaped, comes back to play rough. Mine is weird with his mixed signals like that.

UPDATE: The guy released an "apology" video in November in response to what happened. According to him, police were sent to his house, and local animal shelters and the ASPCA were contacted about it. It sounded like his dog wasn't actually taken away from him(sadly) but I'm guessing that's because he claimed it was all an "accident." Watching his video disturbed me because it was clear that the dude loved the attention it got, for some reason. He sounded excited while claiming to be sorry. It was just disgusting. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find out if his dog had been taken from him, but what I do know is that he deleted the video due to all the hate he got. I'm really hoping his dog is ok, and this isn't a disgusting behavior he practices in behind closed doors. I hope something will be done in the future about him.
Luckily I don't think that this is something that happens commonly. I think he was just doing it for views. If this were something that happened often, at this point the dog would just accept it and wouldn't try to get away. The dog seemed confused, like it didn't understand what was going on. If this were a common occurrence the dog probably would have acted differently. I hope to god I'm right, for the sake of that poor dog.

Dogs are smarter than people think. They understand you. Most dogs only understand by the tone but when they hear people talking enough they get the idea.

I walk my dog and she steps in ALL KINDS of other animals poop, even when she pees it runs down the grass and touches her feet. When we get home I have to wash her feet before she gets in my bed!!! And I can guarentee he probably never cleans his dogs feet. And it's in his mouth. Great.
Kissing your dog in a lovely dovey way is okay. I do it all the time. A couple pecks and he licks me back. I don't full on stick my tongue in his ear and snog him to the point he feels so uncomfortable. This is sickening.
