What do you think about the Minis Build qualiti/water resistance? I just moved to Taipei and im debating between the Mini and the Patton to explore the country and go a little bit of off-roading. Btw I love your knife idea and cute looking pads 😍
Thank you buddy! So i love the mini overall! I just worry about the way it handles in the rain. It will handle lighter rain for sure, but i wouldnt want a hose or a sprinkler hitting me while i ride it haha
@@lawlaxinaakayourfavorite haha thank you for your response! I appreciate it❤️ yeah I didn't want to go swimming with it, it's just when I catch the lightest bit of rain, I don't want to stop my journey.
Hi! I've also been staying in Taipei for a while now n have been thinking about getting a 16' suspension wheel or maybe a shermaX here.(officially they aren't allowed in the capital but some folks ride them in the city anyway😅) I have looked for local euc dealers, however, I haven't come across anyone selling a Patton or Cmdr Mini. Only found a place in Hsinchu that sells the Begode Extreme, S22 n a bunch of older wheels so far. Have you found any euc dealers in the Taipei region that offer Leaperkim wheels? I wanna avoid shipping my wheels over from my place in the Philippines, although I haven't looked into the shipping rates yet, either😅 Besides, my old Gotway wheels are ancient at this point😂
Thanks bro! It was some generic brand of hook and loop, but it was working well for me 4 Inch x 18 Feet Black Hook and Loop Tape with Adhesive, Nylon Heavy Duty Hook and Loop Tape Strips, Non Slip Rug Grippers, Wall Adhesive Strips, Keep Couch Cushions from Sliding - Black a.co/d/4x4qtvb
@lawlaxinaakamr.sendgood4154 Understandable. Looking forward to it. The Lama is cute, too! I wonder if the printer is able to use a more squishy filament for comfort.
Very informative video, thank you! I just received my Commander Mini a few hours ago and bumped into this video. You wouldn't by any chance have the design for the pads available in the mean time though? Pretty please? With sugar and honey on top?
The ergonomics for these wheels went downhill, for my s22 if I don't have some pants I already know that I'm going to sacrifice my calves with some jumps and I'm not going to drop 100$+ for some plastic made shape. Even the mten4 is one of the most painful wheels to ride if you hug the wheel or have one foot resting on the floor
Hey, Law! much respect to you and your skill. I liked to know your thoughts on the commander mini with the 20 inch tire? Im curious about this wheel because i think it should be the most stable at higher speeds for its size. But, I'm curious as to the potential negative tradeoffs going up to a 20inch tire from a 16 inch tire? Thanks again
Thanks buddy! Im actually looking to get a commander gt for myself when it releases. The 18" will definitely will be more stable and smoother on bumps than the 16". Its interesting cuz we still have never reached a 20" wheel yet. Everything else has just been remeasured iterations of the 18" with knobby tires lol. Only negative is a marginally slower initial acceleration. Outside of that, jumps/random shenanigans will be safer on the 18"
Thanks 4 responding. Interesting, you say 18' inches "ZenLee's" test model specs at 20'inch? 🤔 Anyway, I reached out to Jason form Ewheels and he said maybe in a month or two. But, he said there's been too many quick releases lately so, they want wait to insure quality and safety. So, I guess for newbs like me this wheel won't be safe or available until spring/summer 2024 😢
@bravedave90 lol. Zen isnt the guy to go to for the best information. All these wheels nowadays have been releasing with knobby tires. If you measure the outer diameter of the knobby then they usually get to about 19-19.5ish. Companies then round up to 20 lol. Majority of the tires used are 18x3-14 or something similar moto tires measured around 80-90-14.
@bravedave90 you wouldnt really go wrong with a master either. Just depends on the body/ form factor youre looking for in the end. If youre looking for a better price for one, message me on fb or ig
Well, that settles it because I always obey the the " Law" 😆 But, yeah! I'll reach out to you soon and thanks again. I'm interested in the GT but, maybe I should wait until someone with more skill like yourself gets it for review. I want suspension and stability at 35-40+mph and I can't get it on a 16inch wheel right now. I think I ready to step up in weight and power on an EUC. I'm just looking for that sweet spot.
