@@Baerzilla yep, this was very late wipe so almost every pmc had top tier ammo that can easily one tap that visor. Its mainly for scavs/shotguns.

He plays so much he can tell apart the smg from the rifles by sound. if he gets attacked by an smg, pistol or shotgun then its good to have the visor down and if he gets attacked by a rifle then he raises the visor to have better visibility and to hear his opponent better (the visor won't stop rifle rounds at all).

Tan Man with the m4 in dayz you could remove rear sight leaving just the front sight, it shot accurately and allowed you to more efficiently shoot full auto while aiming down sights, also gave you a bigger fov which was really nice

IRL, people are taught to focus on the front sight. Sure you line the sights up, but your focus is on the front sight, not the rear. The rear just kind of blurs, becomes part of the scenery because you're focusing _past_ it on that front sight mark and the target.

IRL you also open both eyes, so optics/sight bodies shouldn't obscure as much as they do. but no real way to get around that in a game.

Well, MP7 has always been gross. It was the Vector before the actual Vectors. I'd probably give the irons a go next time I play over a red dot since you generally don't need such pin point accuracy at distance with an MP7.

I've been takign the rear sight off of every AK I run for long minute. 2 years probably. This isn't new, but definitely works. Not on every gun tho, take a test fire before trying a new one.

Correct me if im wrong, but this would basically never work or be really hard to pull off irl because you need the back sights to line up the gun right? So you're essentially just hip firing irl or you know your gun so well that you can line it up without the rear iron

Front sight meta is what works in Dayz too. Since you aren't actually aiming the rifle the rear sights are useless anyways. The front sight is always on target.

I run just rear sights on my glocks when I run them, just put peoples heads between the rear posts and click, it's way easier to acquire targets, and the front sight just obscures your view

i tryed this with the ADAR and M4 - but had the feeling it isnt accurate - maybe it works due to the short barrel of the mp7 - in other games the adar has this front iron sight only aswell

IRL your eye adjusts to the rear aperture and ur vision isnt obscured by the rear sight. Thats why in COD they enlarge the rear sight to compensate for it. I hope tarkov does the same thing because almost all of the iron sights are unusable cos all u have is 5 pixels to peak thru.
